This girl woke up at 6:17! Dane was in the bathroom and was shocked to hear us up lol we sleep til 9 ish usually but I have no shame because I am up all night multiple times with her. But she just woke up happy and wanting to start the day! She had a really good day she played I made us some muffins and then my mom surprised us with breakfast she threw most everything on the ground but she tasted stuff first lol she took a 2 hour nap! 30 minutes in her bed and then continued 1.5 hour on the living room floor! She was beat! She kept looking up at me and then would get comfy and fall back asleep.
We went on a another walk when Dane got home from work! Got her to bed around 8:30 or 9 which is early for our night owl. She had some French toast and bacon for dinner.
I guess it has to be her idea to take a paci because she sure doesn’t want it when I offer it to her! She found this in her toys in her room and was walking around with it
I was ready to get inside a boxing ring with her last night! I found myself telling her “you aren’t in charge I am in charge and it is nighttime!” & “if you don’t find yourself asleep you’re gonna find yourself alone in your bed!” And then I was like why am I talking to my 15 month old she doesn’t understand what I’m saying lol she was just awake all night off and on kicking tossing and turning whining snacking. Finally at 3:40 she was sobbing so I took her to living room for teething tablets set her down got the lamp on and she started laughing and wanting to play with toys. NO MAAM! So I gave her teething tablets and eeyore and put her in her bed and turned off the monitor because it was obvious there was nothing wrong with her. She of course cried but after 20 minutes I turned the monitor back on and she was asleep. She woke up and whimpered a couple of times but got herself back to sleep. She stayed in her bed until 6:17. Not bad. But she should have been tired after yesterday I just don’t understand why she doesn’t require sleep.

We went to eat an early dinner at gringos because she WAS in a great mood.
We walked in the restaurant and she lost a shoe and the hostess called her Cinderella! Very fitting since she was wearing her Cinderella outfit. & from there Dane knocked my purse over and the waitress picked it all up off the floor for us and then when I sat down to put her shoe back on she knocked everything off the table. Then I got her in the seat and she was trying to stand up which she’s never done and she also kept doing this awful scream OMG! So at this point we get our food eat fast while she is entertained by the coasters and Mickey Mouse on my phone and we leave. I decided to nurse her before leaving to help with the ride home hopefully- you see that glare?! Lol
We ended up stopping at Walgreens for Motrin and I thought we could let her play in the hose while I gave it to her because she HATES taking medicine it is a battle. Omg it ended up being a nightmare she screamed anyways we were both soaking wet she spit out most of the Motrin but no way for me to know how much she got so I can’t give her more. We went straight to the bath tub I got in have her some teething tablets and nursed her and she was OUT. Uhhhh. Ok I’m stuck with no phone no drink and a sleeping bomb on top of me. And I was too scared to try and get out by myself with her and didn’t dare wake her. Thankfully eventually Prince Charming aka daddy came and saved us. I had him put a towel in my recliner get me a towel to tuck under Carolina in case she went potty in her sleep and we sat in the recliner. She slept for an hour on me before I moved her to the floor. And she stayed asleep for four more hours, naked on the floor!
I felt so bad. She woke up crawled to Dane and started crying I put a diaper on her and nursed her back to sleep and Dane laid her down. She woke up after a couple hours and came to our bed and went back to sleep again. I just knew after several hours of sleep since she went to bed at 5:45 she was going to be up ALL NIGHT. Surprisingly she slept until about 4 am before she decided to wake up playful which honestly I was happy about because I was so worried. I was able to get her to go back to sleep eventually until a normal time.
Why does she look GIANT here?! She looks like a two year old. We decided to go on a walk that evening and play at Pam’s house for a minute but we ended up with battle wounds. Mosquito bites, she scratched my face on accident she was about to fall and I caught her but her finger nail caught my face. And she fell off the little picnic table in Pam’s living room and hit her head.
She was having the best time. My intentions were to have her sit on the cushions because she loves to sit on the couch but I’m scared she will fall off. But it only took 2 seconds for her to figure out she could climb up and down

Next stop pick up my June bug! It was an eventful day I thought it would be fun to drive Pam to a house she was cleaning in Baytown let Carolina nap in the car and then go to Cracker Barrel for lunch. Worked out pretty good until we left Cracker Barrel! She flipped over having her diaper changed. She is just too busy to be bothered
She fussed when I buckled her but got quiet. I nursed her before that so she was content. Welllllll halfway home she started screaming on and off and then when we pulled in Pam’s driveway I knew we would have to get out of the car because she was choking gagging herself. I was unbuckling her and said “honey you’re going to make yourself throw up” and then she projected vomit everywhere! This is just my seat not including her own seat
I had to uninstall car seat and take it apart and wash it at Pam’s and lay it out to dry and bathe her before we could go home
She did get a cute Christmas outfit while we were at Cracker Barrel they have the nicest things! Things like Christmas outfits from Cracker Barrel remind me I prayed for this!! A little girl to dress up for the holidays. When you long for a child the holidays feel so lonely. God answered our prayers!
We decided to take Carolina to the park for the first time in the nice little cool front we got…NOT. Ha everyone was saying it would come tonight but we didn’t feel it. She loved swinging with mommy! Her face never changed when she went down the slide lol she was mainly interested in being a free range chicken!
Cool front- finally! We played outside all day. We did chalk and bubbles and I brought out her ball pit we went for a small walk and she played in the dirt!
She also decided to take handfuls of dirt and toss it in the ball pit so we had to take it apart and wash it
Daddy got off early and cleaned up our backyard a little on this beautiful day! Our yard is so peaceful looking. We’ve worked so hard on our home since we bought it including a ton of yard work! The sweet couple who lived here before us loved to garden. (The millers, they lived in our house since 1965 I believe. Only the second people to live here someone lived here for one year after it was built and then they bought it) but mr Miller got sick and Mrs Miller couldn’t do it all so it was a lot to catch up with for us. Unfortunately I don’t have a green thumb and I like a very simple clean landscape that doesn’t require much maintenance so we got rid of some trees (they had 5/6 citrus trees in the backyard and some died in the freeze this year) and a LOT of flower beds. Anyways there’s still a lot to be done but I enjoy walking by the backyard when it’s cleaned up. I took Carolina out in her car and the pups enjoyed her and were nice to her

So I bought this Cinderella blanket for my niece for her first bday and was just hoarding it because it’s a “fast finger” item.
Wellllllll I washed it and laid it out to dry when it came in the mail and Carolina saw it. She loved it! I was tempted to keep it because we all know Carolina June is my Cinderella baby. “No matter how your heart is grieving if you keep on believing the dream that you wish will come true” “even MIRACLES take a little time” that’s why Dane bought me and her a matching Cinderella bracelet when she was born. As my “push prize” ha more like my “cut me open and gut me like a fish prize”. But I shared those quotes with my sis n law after she got pregnant with twins and one passed away. When my niece was born she did a Cinderella newborn session. So anyways it was going to be a gift for her first bday. But I can always find something else Cinderella for a gift.
