Best day ever! Carolina June told me she loved me for the first time!! Made my heart swell and of course I cried like a baby! 

7 months of loving beau Michael

 It took 7 months for this baby boy to have me completely captivated by him…probably a little less haha but this month I’m aware of how silly it was sitting in his room all those months ago wondering what in the world I was going to do with him. When the obvious answer is I’m just going to love him. 

Big boy says “these pics again?!? No thanks lady!”

Me “okay I’ll get my monthly feet pics”

Him: “hey what are you doing back there???”

He turned a complete circle in 3 seconds 

“I will get you sticker!! Grrrr”

He is 23 lb of pure mommy’s milk. Wearing size 3 almost 4 diapers. & he is in 12-18 month clothes. Babbling so loud. Rockin on those knees like he’s going to crawl any moment. Blowing raspberries and slobbering all over when he does it. One of the funnier things is all of the sudden he got the stinkiest toots this past month!! I’ve always called him my stinky boy because he could stink right after you bathe him and his head always smells like a sweaty boy. He has a temper and his love language is attention he wants me to hold him love him talk to him and look at him 24/7. He tried bananas on his 7 month bday and loved them. He really starting opening his mouth like a baby bird for more. He’s not sleeping through the night but he’s sleeping better then he was last month. He loves to be on his side or on his tummy. 

My favorite monthly tradition is getting this sweet photo of his chubby little feet….here’s 1-7 

I was cracking up taking pics of those little flindtone feet yesterday as they tried to escape! It will only be more from here. He’s going to be crawling any time now so I can’t wait to see how our 8 month session goes…only I can wait. Time slow down! 💙

My Carolina JuneBug was mad at me because I’ve been putting saline in her nose and sucking her snot with a machine and tried forcing a teaspoon of honey in her for her cough and putting medicine on her diaper rash and Vicks on her back and chest before bed…that’s a lot for a two year old with a mind of her own. So she was laying as pictured mad at me. I sat down and was talking to her and telling her how sorry I am and that I do all of those things because I love her and want her to feel better. Out of nowhere this grumpy little thing gave me the best most intentional kiss! And when she saw how happy it made me she smiled very big and gave me LOTS more smooches! They were good ones and made mommy cry…tears of joy of course! There’s nothing like feeling loved by your child.

Earlier that afternoon while Carolina was sleeping I played with bubba and did a cookie photo shoot

That morning we had brunch with Danes side of the family it was so fun having all the kids together 

Carolina really enjoyed Christmas and opening presents this year!

Ok I’m doing this day backwards which is kind of annoying lol but next is Christmas Eve morning at home! 

Okay now let’s throw thing for a loop and do Christmas Day which we spent at home and it was so nice! 

Christmas Day fell on a Sunday it was super special to take Beau Michael to church on his First Christmas 

Merry first Christmas my sweet boy! 

Since we would be going to church and Carolina didn’t mess with presents we didn’t present the option to her. This horse was the only thing not wrapped and she played with it alllll morning until we left! I am surprised we were able to leave it at home haha

Opening gifts when we got home 

It was the sweetest thing. Carolina was so excited and appreciative of everything she got that she wanted to play with it and had no intention of opening anything else! It took from the time she got up until bedtime to open her last present. Christmas nap ♥️

We went for a ride later to get egg rolls and look at Christmas lights. We decided to stop and see Brayden and jaelyn on the way back home. 

We couldn’t celebrate with my family because they were all sick…which we ended up getting sick a few days later  anyways!
