9 months of loving beau michael

 

Pictures were a bust this month!! He just didn’t want to he was obsessed with the sticker and retaking them a different day wasn’t an option because he got it and ruined it lol 

Beau Michael is 23lb and 3oz give or take. He has the shortest little legs. Still no teeth. He has started pulling on his ear when he’s tired which he was doing for pics

He’s my mister loudmouth. Loves to stand and pull up on things and hikes the said short leg to climb! He can’t climb anything higher than a stair step level so far. He can let go and stand independently for seconds at a time and loves to walk behind push toys. He’s been eating bites of food like pancakes biscuits carrots sweet potato fries and loves him some puffs! He just doesn’t care for purée and baby cereal so I think we’re gonna eat more solids. 

Mister boy loves to drink mommy’s milk and has been driving through frequently at night. Mommy is ready for him to sleep in his own bed so maybe he won’t wake up so frequently…but will also miss him like crazy. I can’t believe it’s time to start planning his first birthday! Makes me SO SAD. I love this little boy and his squinty eyes and scrunched nose faces! He has the most pitiful look and follows me around going MA MA MA. He hates the car and cries the wholllllee way and he still doesn’t like shopping!

This one might be my favorite. I love his eyes and the wood and the water behind him reminds me of being baptized in the creek. 

I love his boots and the cross stitch bib my great granny made before she died for my future children. 

I think this photo is GORGEOUS. We’re Baptist but the Catholic Churches sure are beautiful! 

This boy is precious and beautiful and so special to me. 

The bonnet was sent home with my mom when I was born. I never used it for Carolina and I think it’s special that it was saved for him. One day it can be turned into a handkerchief for his wedding day. There is a little poem with it.

He was a busy BEE  during church! His big cousins were behind him playing peekaboo and making him smile

Until he finally fell asleep…at the end of service lol

And slept like an angel during his dedication 

His southern brunch! 

Rose shaped pepperoni and heart shape cheese with crackers ❤️ Valentine’s Day trail mix, fruit salad, peppers carrots and hummus and pickled okra. 

Ham biscuits with creole mayo, cream cheese with jalapeño jelly, mini hashbrown frittatas, cheddar grits casserole and caprese salad. 

His cross shaped cupcakes with plates and napkins from our wedding just like I used for Carolina! And I love his picture in the background

Elyse wanted hug and hold him! She kept saying beau and would put her arms up when we took him away it was adorable especially since he is her size

But she gave her mawmaw the best hug ever and was so sad to see her and nana and aunt Chylon go! 

It was such a special day but my favorite part was just being lost in the moment with my husband and our son and promising to raise Beau up to be a God fearing man. I remember at one point just looking up behind me at Dane with tears in my eyes because it’s just a special moment.
