Beau Didley

What can I say about this little boy! To know him is to love him. There are always opportunities to encourage Beau to behave himself lol

Beau is 32 1/2 inches long and 26.8 pounds.

He waves and says hi and bye bye. He can also say

Mama

Dada

Nana

Uh oh

Oh no

Bubbles pop

Ball

Book

Shoes

Dog

More

Go

Paisley (his version)

All done

Mmmwahh (for kisses!)

No

Baby

Beau beau

Boobie

And he calls his weinie a "bi bi" 😆

He can sign milk, all done and more and give high fives and he copycats when me and Carolina say "cheers" with our drink and clink our cups together. He loves to clap and his favorite song is if you're happy and you know it.

I feel like he's been teething foooorrrever but still doesn't have any new ones.

He gets so mad and is very expressive about it. He folds over stomping those flinstone feet. He also covers his mouth when he's mad. But those eyes and that smile! He can bright up the room and you can't help but laugh at him. His little laugh is the sweetest noise it makes you laugh too! He can climb just about anything. It is terrifying- he has no fear and is full speed ahead! He gets on the ground and acts like a dog and barks and at this point it's hard to know rather he is copying paisley or Carolina! He loves his mommy and wants to be my shadow. He is smart as a whip and a little "beau dozer" he just bulldozes over everything! He's been trying to learn eyes nose and mouth lately. He comes and grabs my finger to take me to what he wants like the freezer for chocolate chips or the door to go out.

Fall y'all 🖤

Saturday September 23rd was the first official day of fall! Like summer, but with pumpkins.

Beau was of course into everything I was doing and watching my every move but what tickled me was how involved Carolina wanted to be. I think she truly notices and appreciates decor and she loves to help. She would say "put it there?"  I was pretty excited to decorate our mantle this year with no tv mounted on the wall! Another bonus of taking it down.

I don't do fall then Halloween then fall again. I wait til we're about a week out from October and just go ahead with Halloween. Then when Halloween is over I will take out ghosts/witches and black cats and add more harvest thanksgiving to existing pumpkins.

Outdoors got a much needed update let's hope I can keep these flowers alive. My new babies include snap dragons, knock out roses, pittosporums, bird of paradise. Ignore the fact that we need mulch still. We got a quote for someone to come clean out this flower bed and add color and fill in holes buttttttt that was a grand total of 1,000 dollars so a trip to garden center and $93 dollars later we landed here!

Beau Michael in his first fall outfit of the season...he was grumpy

Sister was beautiful in her patchwork romper made by Aunty Chynaynay! If only she would move away from the ugly garage for pics

It was a gloomy morning full of thunder and lightening. Perfect for sipping coffee and watching the illumination from my favorite candle in my haunted house

Carolina's first rodeo

Actually, this is my first rodeo!
I love this picture of her. Her hands look so natural and at ease. Her eyes full of wonder. She is so comfortable around horses. I think she would love to be a horse rider when she's older.

Our community held a little wranglers rodeo for children with physical and cognitive disabilities. It blessed our family so much! We were thankful for the opportunity to take Carolina to something uncrowded and with little children like her! I was also made very grateful for our small struggles seeing kids with obvious disabilities.

She's a daddy's girl

She of course stayed in the petting zoo 99% of the time
She was so funny. She would get the phone out of my pocket and walk up to each animal and hand it to me and say "cheese?" She wanted me to take her photo with all of them! She wasn't into petting the chicken the kangaroo and ran terrified from the tortoise. Which I don't blame her it looked like a monster!

She tried to be brave and get on this seesaw horse

She's so beautiful I honestly couldn't pick a favorite. I love her in purple with her big brown eyes and dark ringlet pony tail!

I loved her stance here with her belly out

So much life happening…

I would love to start blogging again. If we are being honest I feel guilty about all the special moments and funny things I did not blog with beau his first year. I did his monthly one of course and he will have his baby book. But when Carolina was a baby i blogged weekly. But at the time something had to give and the blog was it…it’s very time consuming. But now that Carolina is in prek and me and him are getting a little alone time I want to try to start again. I make no promises to myself…pretty much the only person reading these! Lol

I forgot to put these pics from right before school started! It was my mother in laws bday so me and Carolina snuck over and decorated her kitchen and baked her a cake! It was a daisy theme and me and Carolina coordinated in our daisy outfits

It's hard to tell but my shorts have pink daisies embroidered on them

Second day of prek looking fabulous! I had to change her cute little Gymboree shoes because she kept saying ouchie and touching them. Her foot skipped a size all of the sudden. She was a size 6-7 with 7 being on the big side all summer and now she’s an 8.

Carolina had a great day! Her teacher says she loves motor lab which doesn’t surprise me since she is a sensory seeker! (Twirling etc…)

Giving beau a dose of his own medicine since he likes to mess with me so much! I did his hair lol

Day 3 of prek! Carolina fell off the tiny see saw and hit her head and had to go see the school nurse! She was fine of course but I wish I would have seen how she handled seeing the nurse.

Up extra early so we got to play on the deck for a minute

Beau in sissy’s old pjs! It’s crazy I think she wore these just last year

I have a prek car rider and a hip rider!

We carved out some evening time to see aunt Debbie and I’m so glad because Carolina really bonded with her and aunt Debbie made her feel special! It was the funniest thing while we were eating dinner Carolina kept bringing aunt Debbie toys and eventually the dollhouse was empty and aunt Debbie’s side of the table was full! Lol but I think Carolina is like a cat. Like how they bring their prey as presents!

Eating cookies in nanas cabinet just like sister used to do

Yay it’s FRIDAY!

Progress: okay I’m not gonna cry but nobody look at me!

Early…EARLY morning playing fire truck

Ever since like the 3rd day of school Carolina has been waking up by 5:00-6:00 and she doesn’t need to wake up until 6:30 for school. I’m sure we will get our schedule down but it’s been challenging because beau wakes up too and it’s so early thst Carolina needs a nap but she is going strong without one and melting down evening time. She’s done really good for the most part though. But it’s got beaus naps super inconsistent during the day too where he’s ending up with cat naps in the car.

Putting coins in the piggy bank

I love how concentrated he is!

I make a lot of comments to family and friends about how challenging and difficult beau is and that sometimes he makes it hard to like him. It’s true! But I love this little boy! He keeps us on our toes. He is just very determined and stubborn which can be good qualities later in life but make it hard during toddler hood lol he learned how to climb up on the toilet seat…to the back of the toilet…to the bathroom counter! He’s crazy.

I know these pics are all basically the same but I love the difference in how his eyes are cut to the left! He looks mischievous

We went to go see mawmaw at work and she took us to Burger King

“No no no”

Spoiled rotten girl with mommy’s coffee

She was saying “ooohhh nooo” about all the trash off the loading dock

For once beau couldn’t figure out how to climb something and I was glad because he was way too little to play here I didn’t even like Carolina up there and couldn’t believe she did it

Like she went all the way to the top!
