Our bedroom is finally done. We’ve lived here 4 years haha. I decided on color scheme and vibe I was going for back in July and just now hung rods and curtains lol

We were watching Christmas with the kranks

They got lots of new fun stuff for the bath

She loves this toy but not for the Barbie of course...it's an animal rescue! Lol the Barbie won't get played with 

After 3 days of presents Carolina caught on and started picking them to open. I was surprised by how quickly she picked up a gift! She brought me the smallest first and said"open!"

Watching me do laundry through the back door. Not that I do laundry on Christmas but some clothes needed to go in the dryer that I forgot about 

Did Carolina's Santa hand when we got up 

We did 6-7 different builds today this thing is gonna be so much fun! It was their big gift. Our day was full of slowness and no time to be anywhere and the kids enjoying their new toys. There were messes and the walls filled with laughter, it was a magical Christmas. The whole season has been full of magic and wonderful memories 

I love how much they enjoyed playing TOGETHER with the play couch 

We ended the night with a fun bath and lots of last "merry Christmas" from mommy. Carolina blew me lots of kisses and was just such a happy girl. Im struggling with Christmas being over. On one hand it will be nice to rest because there's so much hustle for the holidays and im looking forward to implementing a new system with all their wonderful new toys...I love to organize and it will feel nice to have the home not taken over by Christmas. But also...I love it being taken over by Christmas! We've made so many lovely memories and l love the intention that goes into making plans and memories and traditions. January is always such a "blue" month. The right perspective would be that a new year is exciting and you never know what is to come. I look back at the wonderful things that were brought to us in 2023 and it makes me so emotional! 

I gave myself some time to lay in the living room alone with my new old quilt from nana and watch a Christmas story (my favorite) with the Christmas tree so beautiful and the house so peaceful. 🎄❤️
