We’ve been having lots of lazy days other then the everyday chores and I haven’t minded! Nana nutmeg came over and brought me iced coffee to celebrate 7 months of being her mommy!
Tuesday we stayed home again and played and cleaned
She is hilarious right now! Loving this stage with her but she’s growing too fast.

Wednesday we got dressed for a change to go see MawMaw and them! The faces she gives me are so nice

We tried some banana while we were there. Like a real banana. Well she gagged and choked and I panicked so we won’t be doing that again. Lol But this girl is trying to grow up way too fast- LOOK AT HER GO!

Danes parents got her these and she slept horrible this night. I made sure to call and ask them if they performed some kind of crazy non sleep voodoo on them! Here’s how our day started:
We pushed through and survived lol she had a bump in her gum in the front so I decided she was teething!
But she cheered up
and she decided she had a mission, mama didn’t approve and she thought it was hilarious
She can no longer be trusted to stay where you left her to go do anything! Haha
Friday night dane took us to dinner!
Saturday we went to his parents to hang out and miss priss took a good nap
Sunday morning she woke up being fussy and rolling around we figured we were up for the day then all of a sudden....
we became members at our church and confirmed the date for Carolina June’s dedication.
I’m so glad she’s not very expressive! Ha. She was a hoot AND a holler in church! She was laughing at nothing and everything and talking up a storm.
We had gringos for lunch with a side of baby giggles
and a nap in bed after
We finished up the day at MawMaws house for taco night...her faces are everything lol

She’s been saying “ma ma” I don’t think she has made the connection but she is good at mimicking! she can sit really well but she can’t sit herself up by herself yet. She mysteriously moves herself around the floor..not by rolling or scooting just like here I was...now I’m not! Tada! She still enjoys waking up about 6 times at night to drive through the Dairy Queen, probably why she weighs 23 pounds! She hates getting dressed. Still doesn’t care for bath time and gets SO UPSET when you lay her on her table to get ready for bed. She is learning how to clap and experimenting with baby food! She is expressive and we think everything she does is hysterical, she can be very prissy. She is so smiley and calm and her eyes sparkle when she smiles it make me want to cry every time! Her laughs are few and far between we usually make her laugh when we aren’t even trying. We love her and she loves her family and puppies very much!
I always think ten steps ahead. I’ve been thinking a lot about Carolina June’s first birthday and her dedication, and then I thought it would be fun to have a family get together for the 4th of July but that’s just a couple weeks after her birthday. We would be having an event back to back to back. So I’m focusing first on her dedication because I want to get it done in March! I know most people go to the church and go home...but we’re not most people! I love any excuse to celebrate with my loved ones and have everyone all together. So of course I’m planning on a special outfit and a cake and fellowship at the house after. Look at all this dark hair y’all!
Carolina had lots of fun this past weekend! Mama and daddy cleaned the garage all up and she got to use her swing she got for Christmas for the first time! We had to bundle her all up because it was cold in Texas
She also sat like a big girl in the cart for the first time!! I couldn’t believe how grown up she’s getting. My sweet baby.
She thought the rain and cold wind was HILARIOUS when it hit her! Lol I was like no ma’am it is freezing we’re Texas girls. But she was just tickled pink over it.
37 weeks pregnant VS my ALMOST 7 month old!!
I look at her and am amazed that she used to be in my belly. The size of a mustard seed! Just like our faith that one day God would bless us with her.
Baby girl fell asleep watching Elmo in the car! We wanted a DVD player for the car for Christmas because she hates the car so much! We hoped it would help distract her and console her. Seemed good the first time!

It’s been soooo cold!! We had to piece together a cozy outfit real quick because we were going to look at a house. That we LOVED but the location was bad. Womp womp. God will open that door when he’s ready for us to walk through it!
In the meantime my sweet husband pulled up our gross carpet! We’re going to lay the same wood floor we have in our living room down and replace carpet in the bedrooms eventually.

Wednesday morning she was busy! Lol before I finished my first cup of coffee she had a blowout of carrots from the night before! Got her all cleaned up and sat her in the chair with me and I hear baby snores
I guess she got up too early because this little girl was out! Then we snuggled and mama watched her favorite show, bringing up bates! That family is so encouraging and uplifting to me and they have so many traditions and values that I would love to instill in our home. I got up and made myself some breakfast on my favorite plates, nana and papa got us these for our wedding shower. Sunflowers were my wedding flower 🌻
Along with a second cup of coffee...which Carolina June decided to we should just wear. She was nursing while I was taking a sip and threw her arm up! Coffee poured in my hair my shirt and rolled like beads down her face lol OKAY BABY. This is why I need the coffee to do the things! Later that night me and Dane took Carolina to play with her cousin at nanny’s house and we went to eat tbone toms
Carolina sat and played the whole time and apparently was very vocal and wild lol and they got to feed her some carrots which I know they enjoyed...who doesn’t love feeding a baby?! &even though I missed her I knew she was ok and as much as it’s good for me and Dane to have alone time it’s good for her to be away from us! (for short periods of time, don’t get crazy I’m never leaving her for longer than dinner 😂) speaking of crazy this girl has lost her mind and woke up SIX times?!? I don’t know I lost count but from midnight to 7 AM she woke up at least 6 times I think it was more. She fell back asleep for a bit after Dane left for work and then started crying again, I flipped her on her tummy to hopefully play so I could wake up for a min bc I was just dead tired and she did play for a minute or two and then I noticed she was very still and not talking anymore.
We’re gonna have to talk about the whole wake mom up and then PASS OUT thing lol but for now I’ll just drink my coffee *which I spilled a little of because I’m so dang tired sometimes you need coffee to make coffee. But the sweet baby woke up and before I could finish my coffee and this happened

Missy jo came for a visit! We weighed them and Missy is 19.8 pounds and Carolina is 23.2! Lol
All over the place! She’s not crawling she’s not scooting...I don’t know what she’s doing she just kinda turns and tada! Lol
We took daddy to dinner because he always takes us!
Her swing has been awesome for when we run out of fun things to do inside! Dane spends a lot of time outside and I always feel quarantined inside with her but now- she can sit outside with daddy and I can get some stuff done!!
And a quick visit to see papa and nanny because papa is home! We’ve been trying to get her to do this and we could only get her to do it at random now she knows when we put our hand there to make noise haha
