Stepping Stones “Twos”

How is my baby big enough for this? We were just going to listen to her heartbeat for the first time yesterday. I blinked and she’s a big sister off to preschool!

The Friday before school I wanted a mommy daughter date to spend some time alone with her since beau consumes so much of my attention. We went to gringos for chips and green sauce/salsa her fave and ice cream! Then we went to Walmart where she got to pick toys.

We wore green for st patty’s day!

This girl and her tongue

I like these pics because of how little she still looks

She looks like a big girl in these!

I love when the backpack is so big on littles that it pulls them back haha especially because this is the tiniest backpack ever yet looks huge on her

Picture with the hot mess express mama! My sweatshirt said “make today happy!” I needed the reminder. Mommy wanted to vomit but nothing but smiles and a brave face for my girl!! I didn’t want her to pick up on my nervous vibes.

Daddy was able to take off and come with us and I was thankful because I would have been sobbing if I was alone! It was definitely hard pulling up to the car rider  line and them just taking her from the car because she had no idea what to expect she probably felt like she was being kidnapped! I honestly had mixed feelings about that and wanted to walk her in because it’s HER first day but I told Dane that won’t be the normal day to day thing so it sets the tone for what the routine will be. He said “it sets a BIG tone” lol

she was uneasy but I handed her off and she really did good I was proud of her she didn’t panic or scream. Mommy was also uneasy but I had this little baby reaching for me and it was a good reminder that even though Carolina seems like a big kid now I still have this tiny mamas boy

her teacher sent me this:

School has been going great. She is excited when we get there and goes with the people in the car rider line without hesitation and also gets excited to see me when I pick her up! They said she is a very happy child when she is there.
