Last day of school

 

Don’t be fooled….

The poochy lip will get you if you don’t watch out! 

I was excited for our last day of school because Carolina cried every morning recently! Making it hard on my heart to take her. I was also emotional for our time at stepping stones to come to an end because come the fall Carolina will be starting a program at prek in the school district to help with her speech. Cookies fix everything 

Ok I can’t with the growth from just TWO months!!! 

We went for a special date after school at CFA for ice cream to celebrate the beginning of summer

When we got home there were balloons at our porch for the kids from Danes mom 

I let Carolina choose because I was curious which character she would like and she chose Elmo!

Bubby looks like the saddest kid on earth with his Mickey Mouse balloon lol 

I’m thankful for Carolina’s time at stepping stones and for her teacher. Carolina was glued to her side a lot of the time. We went to her end of year program and I didn’t look for her to participate but wanted to try. I could tell Carolina loved her teacher and that her teacher cared for her! I got this sweet picture of her comforting her during the program

Mother’s Day

 “I want them to think I am a good mom. I want them to remember all the fun we had and the memories we made. I want them to know I love them with a love that will never fade. But more than anything, let them see Jesus in me.

Let them know I laid my life at His feet. Let them know I gave Him my all. Let them know I ran the race set before me. 

Let them hear me declare His goodness. Let them hear me sing His praises. Let them hear me bless His holy name. 

God, let my children know I love You by how I love them. Let them say I truly walked this out. Let my children see me as a holy standard. Let them know that my heart belonged to you.

My first Mother’s Day gift from Carolina and it’s oh so special to me.

Aunt Katy did such a wonderful job organizing the event! 

We celebrated Mother’s Day early because daddy would be working all weekend. It was my first Mother’s Day as a BOY MAMA 💚

We went to Cracker Barrel and Carolina June loved the deer on the wall 

We’re gonna start calling him cornbread! Lol he was obsessed with getting the basket of cornbread in front of him. 

11 months of loving Beau Michael

 

Mister boy is obsessed with these stickers!!! Take that! Mommy wins. 

He’s got 4 teeth. He is RUNNING! He can climb on the couch when the cushions are off and he can climb in sissy’s bed. He’s obsessed with phones remotes and coffee cups. He’s started eating big boy food and drinking water from a cup and bottle. I’ve been teaching him to stack things like boxes but he loves to knock them down angrily as I’m saying “on top!” It’s like he’s racing me and then he waits for my reaction and for me to say “uh oh!” And laughs and laughs. He has grown to love our dogs.

New things he’s doing: Beau can clap, raise his arms when i ask “how big is beau beau?” 

Beau dislikes: when mommy does a walk by and doesn’t pick him up and he has to follow me around baby cussing me. When sister forgets nice hands and hits him on the head with toys. Being told no. Sitting down in the bath tub. His bed or even his room! He doesn’t like to sleep. 

I can’t decide which feet pic I like! I like the ones with him laying down because that’s how we started but I love the way his feet have changed with his milestones like sitting crawling standing and walking!
