Moms on Christmas morning

The day after Christmas we did our celebration with the cousins 

Beaus favorite thing was this leaf blower. It was actually a keyboard cleaner lol

Little besties! These cousins always hit it off 

I think sometimes Carolina feels left out because usually her and Jaelyn are best friends. But Jaelyn is 2 years older than her. So when Eva comes around her and jaelyn are the same age except for a few months out of the year. So Carolina is actually close in age to Elyse. They are about a year apart, but she doesn't usually fit in with her and beau she wants to be with the big girls! Beau and Elyse are also a year apart. They are stair steps- Carolina 4, Elyse 3, Beau 2. And at Christmas jaelyn and Eva were both 6. 

Came home with Katy cookies and Christmas crack! 

And also a pretty Kendra scott bracelet from Pam and Karl 

The surprise I didn't ask for! Danes brother was pestering me soooo we got into it (playfully) but I ended up falling up the stairs. It got gross and I guess it was a hematoma. It hasn't healed all the way it hurts if I touch it

We were laughing so hard because Carolina was so excited and tickled about giving it to them!

Nesting blocks. These are so cool. We actually had some when she turned two but she used to step on them and in them and they are cardboard and broke! So I asked for more that way her and Beau could play together. Beau had never played with them he was just a baby.

Pirate chests. These were really cool and I picked them because beau loves keys but they were a little hard for him, Carolina ended up loving them a lot!

We went krogering with daddy for some last minute things and let them get a cake pop

The last day and jingle bell was hanging out with hot cocoa bombs on the tree 

We made cookies for Santa 

Beau helped make these reindeer brownies and he complained that the candy canes were hot! Welllllll that's what he gets for not listening when I tell him not to eat the candy!

We went overboard for sure and decided we would not do that again! We got very excited this year and it was fun to get them things and Dane worked very hard this year and wanted to do it. But it was just too much! 

I felt like Mrs. Claus when I retired to my misletoe suite that night lol

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Beau went to Carolina's vanity and Carolina went to beaus train table HAHA UHHH OKAY

She walked right past these animals! So she loved the tiger most and decided that "HoHo" brought the elephant for beau. That was sweet and we didn't say anything because we didn't think it mattered. Welllll fast forward and it does matter because now when beau wants the elephant and she wants it beau remembers her saying Santa brought it for him and it's HIS ELEPHANT even though it was supposed to be Carolina's 

Notice Beaus pink boots??? lol he loves shoes but those were obviously Carolina's that he insisted on wearing 

Opening his present from Carolina...Minnie mouse phone! Look, we would have gotten him a Mickey one but they didn't make one. Some people are upset that we let beau have girl toys or put on Carolina's shoes (never in public) but he's just a baby brother who doesn't understand "pink is for girls" it's fine! Don't worry about us lol

Beau Michael.....had a little bit of an attitude Christmas morning! One of the reasons I think we had too much. He couldn't handle it. And Carolina loves books and Beau doesn't, but I got them each two books. Well at one point Beau opened his books two in a row and said "noooo! I don't want a book!" I was definitely irritated but controlled my flesh for the sake of Christmas morning. It's obvious we need to talk to him about gratitude and saying thank you, no matter what.

Chef Beau! We got him a blue apron so he didn't have to wear Carolina's pink one when playing kitchen

The moment daddy waited for patiently Christmas morning! His big present! He gave me a choice of two radios he wanted and I read about each of them and chose one

My wallet. I ended up with two because Carolina wanted me to have the monster inc one. And I got Christmas charms for my bracelet

Most thoughtful gift was this note from Dane in my stocking 

Late that night we went to see cousin Jaelyn for just a few mins.
