carolina kept bringing me that pink box that her school cup came in filled with animals and furniture from her dollhouse until the counter looked like this 

She wanted daddy to brush her hair 

 

 

Time for big girl school! 

She did amazing getting out of the car and going in! I was so proud of her 

I loved getting these pics from her teacher a little later

Wondering what to do without bossy Lina around 

When she got home from school which was only about a little over 3 hours later her and beau hugged a million times and kept saying "BEEAAUUU" "LINAAAAA" they acted like they hadn't seen each other in ages it was so sweet 

That afternoon we were ESTATIC that they finally picked up our huge whole dead tree over a month later! We could have paid to have it picked up but the city has disaster funds for this sorta thing soooo we dealt with it and saved money 

Day two! 

After school mawmaw and nay nay came over and brought Carolina a prize. Candyland! We had workers over redoing our attic insulation...we had a rat problem and our insulation was not up to code. We were getting it all torn out and sanitized and new blown in. Welllllll he stepped through my bedroom ceiling. They didn't clean it up and they didn't offer to patch it until their Sheetrock guy could come. So we moved in with Pam for about 3 days during that NIGHTMARE. We were livid about the way the company handled it and we cancelled our contract with them but it wasn't easy and we still had to pay them a pretty penny for the work they had "completed" but it was a blessing because in the end even after paying them and the new company we saved a couple thousand dollars compared to our first quote. The second company we hired which my mom recommended to us gave us a much lower bid and were sympathetic over our situation and very generous and helpful 

Carolina told me she drew a happy face! 

Nothing like being displaced the third night of school but happy to have a place to go my babies are comfortable 

Day 3 featuring "hee-haw"

Dane taught the kids to throw these weird sticky guys on the ceiling and they stayed for so long but then would randomly start falling and scare the crud out of you

We took these three heathens shopping Saturday for shoes 

Then I went home to start cleaning up. We couldn't go home because we had to shut the ac off due to moisture and waiting on damages to be repaired so it had gotten hot and our ac is old and had a hard time catching back up 

Something we discovered is Carolina loves the car wash....Beau is scared! He kept telling me "I'm so scared mommy" 

I held his poor little hand 

Sunday night we moved back home in time for school the next day.
