We love fall most of all

 Monday Carolina was in rare sorts she just cat napped and didn’t wanna be put down. I kept trying to go to nanas but she wasn’t having it! Finally she was in a decent mood so we went to nanas for coffee and hung out for awhile. MawMaw came home early and played with us! 

And we got home and I had time to make a bow for her pictures this week

Monday night she slept horrible! Or I did anyways. She literally slept on top of me with my boob ALL NIGHT. Even if she wasn’t eating I would try to just lay her next to me and she wouldn’t have it. Tuesday we were having friends over and I was exhausted but it went fine even though she was still being clingy. She was a very good girl and sat with mommy while she made dinner! 

Wednesday was two cups of coffee and lots of snuggles! 

Thursday was picture day! She did so good! She took a great nap I was able to get ready and all her things ready, she slept on the way there and we got there with enough time to nurse and go in! She loved the photographer and she sat propped up and did tummy time and cooperated very well! I can’t wait to see them. And I lucked out she slept the whole way home too! Couldn’t have gone any better. It’s exhausting being the perfect model baby

Friday 💙 We went to Lercys for lunch with MawMaw and daddy and his boss met us there! Carolina couldn’t figure out where her daddy came from. People in line to get their food loved talking to her and one person said “ma’am you’re gonna need to move this baby she’s distracting people from the food” HAHA 

Saturday was mine and Danes 5th wedding anniversary. 

We got engaged after 2 months and everyone around town thought I was pregnant. The pastor wouldn’t marry us. We were doubted by many..... It’s been 5 years 3 addresses 2 dogs 2 sweet babies and guess what?! We beat the odds. Love you Bud! Shania Twain said it best :

fall is my favorite time of year, it’s when we got married and when we found out we were pregnant with Carolina June. Today we are taking her to a pumpkin patch where a photographer will take 2 free pics courtesy of our realtor  and then going to dinner. 

Carolina June had a good night with her MawMaw while mama and daddy went to dinner! They watched the jungle book and fox and the hound and my mom said she didn’t cry at all! I kinda freaked out because I wasn’t getting a response from mom nana or uncle leslie about how she was! I know she’s well taken care of but my mind was racing we almost went to get her but I got a text back finally lol somehow mom had blocked my texts 

Sunday we had a lazy day at home and a blowout that she was very pleased with herself over haha it was even in her toes 

Her face says “haha mommy look what I did!” Weirdest thing happened after her bath, I laid her on the bed to dress her and she flipped OUT! The right half of her face had hives I was like oh no she’s having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics I’m taking and to make it worse I was nursing her to calm her I didn’t know rather to quit or call her dr or what it wasn’t anywhere else on her body and she was breathing fine so I decided to wait and within five minutes it was all gone! I guess she was just really mad! And I tried to get a Halloween pic but she kept sliding 

She was being super silly and chatty before bedtime 💗 

She’s my child for a lifetime, but only my baby for a year 💖 time is a THIEF. 

4 months of loving Carolina June

Sunday October 18th was Carolina June’s 4 month birthday! Where has the time gone? She is super smiley and happy. She has started laughing. She screams to hear the sound of her own voice. She loves her hands, sucking them, putting them in her face when she’s eating/sleeping. She uses them to wake herself up and to fight her sleep when she’s overtired and tends to scratch herself. But she’s learning to use them to grab things! She loves nursing she still wakes up at least twice at night for some milky, and showering with mommy is her new favorite. Daddy is for playtime! 

 

Lots of outings

Monday we stayed home and had a much needed lazy day! I haven’t been feeling good I’ve had a uti flare up for about a week now. Womp womp. Makes everything miserable. Baby took a long nap and dad got off early so he joined her and I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. 

We had a little fashion show trying to figure out what to wear for four month pics! She was happy at first...but 23 outfits later she was over it lol 





So then we played and had some tummy time as long as she would tolerate it! She’s got a good strong neck with great head control. 

She’s trying very hard to use her hands to grab toys! She gets close. She’s done it a couple times on accident she hasn’t figured out to do it on purpose yet lol We had a good day snuggling 

Tuesday’s are for pumpkins! 

These barefoot sandals FINALLY fit her tiny feet!! She loved them, I think! Lol she couldn’t stop looking at them pretty toe toes! We decided to go to nanas to enjoy some iced coffee! She fell asleep on nana and had nice little nap and then MawMaw FaceTimed us! Naked baby because she spit up like half a cup of milk!! Uhhhh girlfriend mommy works hard for that milk! 



That night dane tried to get her and paisley to interact but paisley didn’t want any part of it lol 



Wednesday’s are for walks apparently! We stayed home and just hung out because I just didn’t wake up feeling glamorous 



so I decided I could catch up on this here blog! But three o clock came and I needed a break! I loaded up the stroller and we went for a stroll. Wellllll it wasn’t too hot but it was too sunny I felt like she was gonna get burned, her cheeks were red. So we headed home. Nana (Danes mom) stopped by and gave us a little toy for her to sit in and a Winnie the Pooh bear! When it got dark we went for another walk with daddy because it felt nice outside. We went down pams street and her yard looked cute for Halloween so I thought it would be a good idea to push the stroller over there for pics

only it stirred up 123,000 mosquitos! I couldn’t get them off of us and they were SWARMING her stroller and head so I yanked her out of it and i carried her home. I laid her down to play and didn’t notice any bites on her. She figured out how to grab her toy! And she looked like a baby seal with a ball on its nose haha  



We took a shower and I noticed they got her head! Great. Doesn’t seem to bother her though. Then we decided to try out our new toy while mommy pumped! 

Depending on time and how Carolina falls asleep sometimes she’s in bed with us. She gets so comfy cozy and just melts next to me because I am her safe place! Even when I’m not as comfy as her it makes it hard to wanna move her 

Thursday morning playtime! Carolina June has REALLY figured out how to use her hands LOL I looked down because she was making lots of noises and she had pulled this out of its hole and was holding it. Little hulk baby 



Favorite mommy moment : when she’s fighting her sleep but can’t help but fall asleep as soon as I nurse her. But good luck putting her down! So I hold her while I watch desperate housewives lol anyone remember that show? 



Welllll mommy’s uti started hurting really bad so we went to Houston to see the urologist! I’ve been having this problem for going on 4 months so I really need it fixed so I can be the best mommy and wife possible! They ran test and we were out fairly quick, Carolina was a good girl and I’m hopeful they can fix her mama! 



After the urologist mommy went to vote!

FRI-YAY!!!! 💗 

Woke up and the weather was in the 60’s! So I wanted to go for a quick walk. I bundled up the baby put her in her stroller annnnnd it started misting! Ugh so we went to our neighbors house and chit chatted with her while she made some yummy cookie dough. 



MawMaw took an extra day off this week and spent it with her favorite girls! Obviously! We went to Cheesecake Factory and omggg it was GOOD! We had never been there before. We got an egg roll sample platter and shepherds pie and orange chicken and pineapple upside down cheesecake. Carolina June was the perfect little lady and caught lots of people’s attention!

Later that night the Gilpin’s came over with the girls and hung out for a couple hours. Carolina is the “princess and the frog!” LOL

Daddy went riding and me and my little bestie went to hobby lobby to get some ribbon so I can make her a bow and we stopped at a pumpkin patch on the way home! Unfortunately my little country bumpkin spit up all over her pumpkin shirt before I got a smiley pic! Lol

And we went to the neighbors for dinner! We love our neighbors they are so good to us.

 Sunday morning church ❤️

This morning started out so lovely with my beautiful miracle baby in church....said miracle woke up prematurely...wanted to play okay that’s fine. Said miracle wanted to gnaw on mamas fingers...also fine. SAID MIRACLE had blowout in the pews....it was SO much worse than the pic y’all. We gracefully wrapped a blanket around us and walked out. Amen.

Soooo we went out to the parking lot to clean this girl up in the back of my suv and the more I started to investigate the worse it got! Almost up to her hair and on her toes. THANK GOODNESS we walked out when we did. After the princess had her bird bath we decided to keep her and go eat a yummy lunch at gringos!
