You make bath time lots of fun! 🧼 🧴

Mawmaw came over and babysat while me and Dane Michael went to t bone toms. I let her take a late nap since she skipped nap today so she would be in a good mood

She was being so sweet and laying her head on me watching a movie before we left

We got fried mushrooms and pickles, chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes green beans for me and chicken fried steak French fries and Mac for dane it was good and soooo deep fried diabetes lol and we shared a piece of ooey gooey caramel pecan pie with a scoop of ice cream!

Carolina didn’t even miss us lol she had a good time playing with mawmaw and watching little rascals! She was excited to see us though and cried every time daddy left the room! I couldn’t get her to stop crying big crocodile tears she just wanted dada!

So awhile back I removed the tables from the living room and entry way. I decided I wanted them back and would just have to see if Carolina is still going to crawl and climb all over them and go from there. But our living room table as a bottom and glass on top so I did NOT want to risk that one. So I zip tied a basket in the bottom of it and put some of her toys in it thinking that would make it okay. NOPE. First thing she did was the yanking the basket out and she was ticked off when she couldn’t pull it out! She cried over it for 15 minutes when she got up. I just allowed her to work through it on her own and she eventually moved on lol

We did lots of busy work. Moved furniture cleaned the tile up against the baseboards where the mop hits lol that kind of thing!

She had a sink bath because I gave her a baby food pouch and she made a mess! Her hair with this humidity stayed soooo curly!

Daddy got mommy flowers! He’s put heart shaped petals on our bed off and on for years. And helped me with all kinds of little things around the house I’ve been wanting to do.

Uncle pawpaws build of the month, I asked for a bread box!

She woke up feisty! You never know if you’re gonna wake up to sweet jabber and smiles or a smack in the face

Took baby shopping at the Home Depot with daddy! Which actually our motif behind getting in the car on this rainy day was to get her to take a nap lol and she did! That’s why she’s in pjs.

Out cold for a late nap on Tuesday

I spent the day with nana doing fashion shows, drinking coffee, cleaning up & rearranging my kitchen….tried to clean the toaster ended up throwing it away lol and most importantly I’ve spent the last few days making a slideshow for her birthday party! It’s 26 minutes long I want to play it on our tv at the party and I still will but I know it will be hard for people to actually sit down and watch it so I went ahead and sent it to our moms so they could watch in advance. I can’t believe how much Carolina June has changed in the last *almost* year. For awhile I was so sad that she was going to be one soon but I changed my perspective. I love the baby she right now and she will still be that baby in a couple weeks. Each stage is fun and new! I text one of my best friends and said “junie passed out on my pillow I’m scared to move her” and her response was “better find yourself a new pillow!” Lol the struggle is real

Carolina June has been throwing major fits! She is all girl and all drama lol she’s thrown little fits from the time she was like 6 months old I think- I’d have to look back but that’s when she was coming into her personality lol but anyways she is definitely figured out that when she cries we normally baby her and come to her rescue. But recently I have had to start ignoring her because she is “crying” anytime something doesn’t go her way or if we take something from her or interrupt her plans to change her diaper. She is a MESS.

We all ended up matching lol mawmaw bought the baby a new toy and outfit and bought me a pair of shorts! We love shopping lol

When we got home she had fallen asleep in the car so I rushed her in to the recliner to see if she would go back to sleep and she did thankfully and she slept for like 2 hours

The other day Dane said something to the effect of cleaning up after her is one of the perks of being a SAHM….lol so I sent him this pic and said “just one of those perks!”
