Life of an almost 11 month old

Forever waking me up then going back to sleep lol 

Trying on one of her bday pic outfits! I was so excited for her pictures and wanted them to be perfect but Carolina brought me down to reality with my expectations 

 We went to have one year old pictures made on Tuesday….Carolina was okay as long as she was doing what she wanted when she wanted how she wanted! We took a couple breaks….because it was not going well!

My cousin managed to get some good ones she showed me on her camera and I’m reminded how privileged Carolina is because 26 almost 27 years ago moms didn’t take babies for professional pictures with several wardrobe changes lol they also didn’t have elaborate themed birthday parties catered and with entertainment. 

When we got home I tried taking some pics of her myself in one of the outfits she didn’t cooperate with most. They are not professional quality but a few were okay

And she took a sweet snooze outside. Woke up and then me and Dane looked over she was asleep again. Woke up and same thing she started dozing off and by this time it’s after 6 so we got her out of the sleepy swing lol 

Wednesday I was just missing Christmas. It’s a thing for me every summer lol so I wanted to make my house cold and it was a rainy day so it was dark and cozy. I put apple pie in the scentsy and had intentions of putting her down for a nap and listening to Christmas music and getting some good cleaning done but she protested. I did eventually get her down and clean my baseboards lol yay for adulting! I love her little hand up on my chest when she’s nursing and her chubby little hands. 

Thursday we got rid of our dinosaur internet and updated to something better and my mom and nana came over to visit! We played with Carolina and talked and laughed. I had one super watered down sip of coffee left in my cup and Carolina was begging to drink out of my cup. So i gave her a sip and small piece of ice went in her mouth she was SO UPSET. My mom and nana kinda thought she didn’t like the coffee because she made a disgusted face but it was super watered down and maybe a little milky from half and half so I think it was the cold ice and it melting in her throat because she cried and cried and was so upset she didn’t even want to nurse at first lol nana did mention maybe she was mad because that milk was not good like her mommy’s milk haha next we went to Walmart with my mom and shopped around we got Carolina a couple outfits and my mom got her a tiny baby doll! I was looking at all the baby doll stuff and I can’t wait to teach Carolina to be a good little mommy and for her to be old enough to love her her babies! When I was little (if you’re reading this-sorry mom!) we used to get a Disney catalog in the mail and I remember this hot pink satin Winnie the Pooh doll travel system! I wanted it sooo bad. It had the stroller, play yard, infant seat that kind of thing. I didn’t get it and I still think about it haha  I’m sure it was stupid expensive and I’m sure I didn’t need it. I probably had very similar toys that just weren’t Winnie the Pooh themed. So anyways when Carolina is big enough watch out eBay I’m coming for you 😂😂 although I tried to find a pic to attach and I can’t so it may not be easy to find lol anyways Friday we spent the day with nana! Carolina was so good!! She played she never fussed she took a good snooze in my arms while I caught up on when calls the heart! Her and nana had a good time together!

And when that got boring she sat inside the ottoman! 

And when that got boring she crawled in circles around  it! Lol 

Carolinas new trick: standing…on her own! Me and nana were sitting there and all of a sudden Carolina stood straight up without holding onto anything! (Friday may 14th!)

We had dinner and tried waiting until my mom got home but she didn’t pull in until we were leaving at 8:00! I pulled back in the driveway to say hi! Carolina was very tired she had apple banana cereal for dinner and had a full sleepy belly! Saturday morning bed head 

Carolina June REFUSED naps on Saturday. She had a whole meltdown each time I tried laying her down. I took her outside to swing while I clean the garage thinking she would fall asleep but that didn’t happen. She cried almost the whole time. I finally put on princess and the frog and went on my merry way doing laundry/dishes/cleaned my stove/made my bed/swept/cleaned the washer and dryer/wiped down the outside fridge and door (all filthy from our dogs) I half expected she would fall asleep on the floor lol I need to do so many things before her party! I only have 21 days and that is NOT a lot! I better get off here and make myself a list lol
