Something Carolina does that I don’t know if I’ve mentioned is sit on things. It could be a toy, a pair of shoes, you lol but when she wants to sit on something she backs up to it. She’ll look at Danes boots for instance then turn away from them and back up while looking over her shoulder and sit on them! It’s hilarious and I love it. Something Carolina did just once (thankfully) was last week I was organizing her room and she brought me her diaper. I was super confused and wondering where she got a diaper from (I thought it was clean) then I noticed she was naked! 

When I got the diaper from her I noticed only one side was undone. So I think I know what happened! She takes her fingers and rubs them on things all the time she really likes to pick at stuff well especially when she’s watching tv! So I bet she was picking at her diaper while watching her movie and got the one side undone and then it just fell down the other leg. I think if she had done it intentionally she would have made a sport out of it and kept taking it off and bringing it to me lol

She started falling asleep when we left as we were rolling through the parking lot! 

Annnnd she’s out! 

“No dada I’m still tired. Just sleep with mommy”

We went to southern comfort for dinner

It lasted a minute haha 

I opened the sun roof on the way home from the restaurant because she was upset and she loved it haha she told daddy that mama needs a new car with a view

I got down this little seat to feed her in and she loved it! She enjoyed climbing in and out of it. And backing up to sit on it haha

I spent Sunday rearranging her room on a whim. It made it easier. I’ve been knowing I need to center her room more around playing and less around a “nursery” 

I wish she had more space in her room but this will have to do! It gave her a wall to line up her toys on and I think moving things around will make her interested. She definitely noticed her room was different! She was walking around smiling and just peeking at everything 

Monday morning mood 

Since I moved toys around in her room it also moved things in the living room. So I put her Winnie the Pooh toys in the white basket and ever since she’s been dragging the basket around and climbing in it 

Does she have a perfectly good bed? Yes. Does she prefer sleeping on the floor? Yes. 

See how short her pjs are? I put so much thought into what she wears. Last night when picking her pjs I was stuck between this pair and another pair I love. Both 18 month so I knew she’d be outgrowing them soon. I asked myself “if tonight was the last night she could wear either one which would I choose?” And I chose this pair and it sure was short on her! This will be the last time she wears them. My baby is growing. 

When I came to the living room after laying her down I found she had started on a masterpiece! Haha 

The only bad part about floor naps was she woke up and ran to find me 😂😂😂 I knew she would fall back asleep on me 

I am going Thursday to get some baby lights put back in my hair. I’ve always been brunette it’s my God given hair color but ever since I went back brown about 3 weeks ago I haven’t had a good hair day! My hair is so soft and it seems to get dirty faster so I decided even if it’s just a little I’ve got to have some blonde back in it!

So she slept on me awhile 

 But I was starving so I laid her on the ground in the living room so I could eat lunch …..

When I was done eating I went to my bedroom to call my uncle back and didn’t want to wake her and he didn’t answer so I called my nana. Several minutes passed maybe 15. Then I heard what sounded like a toy hit the floor I was excited she was awake and ran to the living room and she was just playing! She had added A LOT to her masterpiece from the last picture! I couldn’t believe she was just out here playing and didn’t come find me. This is my favorite thing she does. She puts so much thought into each thing she places and she stands back and looks and she smile and giggle and pick them up and admire them and even kiss them then place it somewhere else and peek at each one with such concern and move them again! Then she gets it perfect and moves on to a new surface. 

Baby’s first PBJ went something like this…

“Hmmm…mommy made me something new. What is it?”

I’ll try it!

She was holding onto him while eating snacks and watching tv 

For dinner Dane wanted cereal I wanted a salad and I made Carolina oatmeal with almond milk. I shared my salad with her but she wasn’t interested. She ate a couple of bites of Oreo cookie after cereal…it’s all about balance lol 

Delicious salad! Avocado, red bell pepper, carrots and cucumber with rotisserie chicken and mixed dressing (zesty Italian, thousand island and ranch) nanas combo I would have never tried if it weren’t for her lol and topped with spicy Texas trail mix from HEB for something crunchy! 

Soooo after dinner Carolina left Pluto in the kitchen and we didn’t realize it and while paisley was in there supposed to be eating her food she ate on Pluto instead! Uuuughhhh. She ate a hole in the foot and ripped out the tongue. Thankfully I was able to mend his holes good as new!

We went to cracker barrel to find an Aggie onesie they had but they were sold out! 

Bummer but we still had a good lunch with Pam. Carolina ate her weight in green beans and biscuits! She even tried grilled onion Mac n cheese and beignets

Be still my heart! If you had told me I’d love stuffed animals for her I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s one of those things that I thought what do you do with all of them you have to wash them…whatever but seeing the way she loves them OMG I’ve never seen anything cuter 

In this house you don’t need a special occasion to wear a tutu! She ate dinner in it! And for dinner she ate an entire chicken nugget!! I am sooooo excited. She’s never eaten a whole anything! 

Wednesday morning tutus…started out as any normal day! I’ll talk more about this day in another post but let’s just say in a matter of one hour my whole life changed! Expect the unexpected. 

Yummy Oreo! Carolina stayed with her nanny again while I got my hair done…the brown wasn’t working for me! I guess blondes have more fun 

Friday snuggles…she always finishes her nap on her mommy. The dishes.. the laundry.. the mopping..the vacuuming will be there when she can nap on her own and I’ll miss the times I had to cram a days worth of work and lunch into 20 minutes ❤️

Saturday we went for a walk, she took a nap and when she woke up we went to Kemah which was a bust it was way too crowded and 2 hour wait for everything. So we went across the road to ihop! We were with nanny and papa and brayden boy!

She was so good in the car since she had some entertainment in the backseat. But poor thing..as soon as we got to Kemah and I got her out of her seat she threw up a little bit and she did not like it she started crying and making a horrible noise with her throat like she was gonna do it again. I guess we have a baby who gets carsick, and she gets it honest from her mama. She was ok as soon as I put her in the stroller with some fresh air.

Carolina June ate more food (snacks) than she’s ever eaten. She must have been starving. She ate about 8 baby cheeto things, 1 banana cookie and they’re pretty big, several several puffs I didn’t count and she ate a bite of eggs with cheese, a lot of hash brown and a bite of omelette. And drank a ton of water. This is the first time she hasn’t thrown any food on the floor and when we got her out of the high chair there was none in her lap this baby was hungry she ate it all lol
