Saturday night Carolina was extra still and cuddly with her dad. I thought it was sweet but also strange that she stayed still for so long. I wondered if she felt ok. I was fixing to nurse her when I noticed she had a little blowout so I stopped to change her. She naturally was so upset to be teased with milk like that. So while changing her she had a bad rash out of nowhere that was bleeding. I felt horrible. She cried and got herself really worked up choking on her own saliva and got snotty and swallowed it almost like she was gonna throw up a little bit but she didn’t. I nursed her to sleep and took her to bed with us because she just didn’t seem ok.
She woke up around midnight crying out but didn’t want to nurse she just kept snuggling up closer to me. All of the sudden at 1 AM she threw up laying on her back I rolled her over she threw up again so I sat her up that time and she threw up again. I woke up Dane he helped us get in the shower and changed the sheets. She cried pitifully in the shower for awhile I didn’t want to nurse her because I didn’t know if she could keep it down. I was worried we were dealing with our first tummy bug. But she fell back asleep in bed without nursing thankfully and woke up at 4 to nurse and kept it down and went back to sleep. When she woke up the following morning she just didn’t look like she felt good. And she was burning up I took her temp and got a couple different readings from 102.5 and 101.6 either way I put her in a cool bath which she did not appreciate. I also gave her Motrin a little at a time because you have to be sneaky. She eventually livened up a little bit and played in the water some. We laid around the house most of the day.
She was drooling so much and had her hands all the way in her mouth so I am thinking she’s getting some more teeth and the throw up was a coincidence
It was such a pretty day we decided to try some fresh air but she wasn’t enjoying her car like she usually does
I sat outside and just held her with eeyore and she fell asleep with him as her pillow

She perked up a bit and was carrying around this blanket that aunt Shelby made her
But the next day was downhill again this was our whole day! Snuggly sick sleeps
Everytime we thought she was on the mend…she would make a point to show us she isn’t. We decided to get out of the house and go to my in laws and she was miserable over there I went and laid down with her and she went to sleep on the trundle bed….
When she woke up she was inconsolable for 1.5. I don’t know if it was pain or a night terror but she was absolutely hysterical and NOTHING helped.
I ordered her new teething toys and daddy even went and got whiskey to put on her gums. We had done Tylenol, Motrin teething tablets and anything we could think of.
I tried just keeping her busy and distracted. We did candy corn foot print art, ate some and went for a walk.
We had to run home because she lost her mind walking

We stayed in our matching lounge all day!
She woke up and played with some water, one of her favorite things!

And carrying around her dada’s dr pepper! Her taste pallet is very simple, just the Texas necessities blue bell, bacon, Dr Pepper and of course Dairy Queen haha
It’s just been a crummy week with LOTS of ok she’s feeling better and then a big fat NOPE she’s still miserable.
I made some really yummy pumpkin muffins one day and was so excited because I just knew Carolina would love them and then she wouldn’t even try them! Over the course of the few days we had them she tried it finally but didn’t react how I expected

This little monkey is finally feeling great so we took her out for the first time!

She took a nap and Danes mom babysat so we could go celebrate our anniversary. Our anniversary was the next day but we had a baptism to go to and would be having family lunch after so we decided that was a long enough day. We went to Texas Roadhouse for a steak!

She’s such a doll baby. By the end for pics Carolina had had enough and so had Elyse so this was the best we got haha it was NAP TIME Carolina straight up laid her head down

Happy 6th Anniversary Dane Michael! About 6 years ago a crazy young girl jumped on stage stood behind the pulpit and looked our former pastor in the eyes and told him he was wrong about us & we would find someone else to marry us. Today as a 27 year old mom and wife, I’d do it again in a heartbeat ❤️ I knew without a doubt we were meant for each other and just think if we had listened all we would be missing. 🎃🌻
This was our first Christmas married when it was just us and Paisley girl and we had a camo Christmas!
