Roses Tulips and Tibbetts

This sweet girl got to play with nana and aunt Chylon Monday afternoon while me and Dane Michael went to our first appointment! I set up just a little station with some pumpkin muffins I made that morning to say thanks! I felt bad because her plane arrived that morning and I intruded on their first day together, but we had no other options. Wasn’t a good idea to take her and my mom was in NY and Danes mom was also out of town.

Sweet baby fell asleep just twenty minutes before they were supposed to be arriving. It was good and bad, I knew she needed sleep but was also worried she would be upset and confused if she woke up and we were gone and nana aunt Chylon were there lol thankfully she woke up before we left!

She was the perfect angel but a little bashful with aunt Chylon. She knew her nana was there though and kept hiding her face in nanas lap and even snuggled her when we were leaving. Love this girl in her purple elephant pjs! Baby pajamas are my favorite

She was just TOO CUTE in her little denim mini skirt and boots! We spent the day at nanas visiting aunt Chylon. And uncle Brad bought dinner, he always does when she comes to town! Lol they witnessed Carolinas first fit. I don’t know what her problem was towards the end of the day. I can’t help but laugh at her but they felt bad for her. She was probably over tired over stimulated over everything. I was also over tired!

Wednesday morning started out rough. She had nursed all night and I was protesting the next morning by 7 am. Like I will gladly get up and make you breakfast and you can eat food but you are cut off of the boobie cafe for awhile. She didn’t take it well. Lots of meltdowns. I was ready to pinch her for my own satisfaction lol I even brought the high chair in the living room so she could watch Mickey. She ate half of a pumpkin muffin on the second attempt

Wednesday was another vintage Gymboree day! Polka dot puppy! & aunt Chylon made her a polka dot puppy to match! I’m gonna make a little tulle tutu to match lol I had this bow made to match this line but it’s too big she won’t leave it alone so we ended up switching to a small one

These are the same socks she wore when she was a newborn! Granted they were kinda big on her then but still her feet are so small! Lol we went shopping to Michael’s with aunt Chylon to get canvases and paint to paint a princess mural for her room! Carolina was helping herself to the paint when I wasn’t looking haha she was just close enough to the shelf to grab some!

We stopped at Savannah’s cafe on the way back and I got us a quiche to enjoy! When we got to nanas Carolina had fallen asleep. I took her in and she actually took a good little nap

She had a great time playing when she woke up. She played peekaboo and her and nana made funny noises at each other and she was spinning in circles. And she played with aunt Chylon and ate some lunch on the porch. I took her home and she was playing with her paci in the backseat lol yeah ok girlfriend like you know what to do with that thing

Dinner time. Sausage eggs and biscuits. She didn’t eat as much as I would have liked but she did take a few bites

Bath time!

Since she didn’t eat much after bath I fed her some yogurt and she tried mandarin orange slices! Those are my favorite and I have loved them since I was a kid. She ate 4 lol I was hoping she would love them like I do. She slept ok but did nurse a few times but she was sweet about it and would just pat me and babble and didn’t scream and cry all night. She did have a hard time when I cut her off at 7 this morning. She cried for a bit and then played with my phone

I got her up and offered her breakfast.

She played good and ate half a granola bar and watched Pocahontas. My new goal is nurse in bed get up about 7 and make her eat breakfast / snacks and wait to nurse till 10 AM. She made it perfect until 10 except…

She got the hot sauce from the fridge and when I saw her I tried grabbing it and she ran. Of course tripped and fell in it which scared me to death that she was lying in glass. I picked her up and she was crying I hoped it was because she was scared and not hurt. She freaked out while I was trying to get her top off but it had hot sauce and glass all over it. I was able to calm her down and put her back in the living room she was eating a slice of cheese and content so I went to pick up glass. She screamed on the other side of the gate for 20 minutes while I was trying to get it all and sop up some of the sauce. I decided to stop and nurse her because it was now 10:30. She nursed and watched Mickey Mouse and I was able to clean up the mess. It took two stain removers dish soap and laundry soap. It was too wet to keep scrubbing so I’m letting it sit and dry to re-evaluate the stain. But more exciting news is nana and aunt Chylon came over so me and aunt Chylon could start on Carolinas princess painting!

Looks like nothing here but it’s going to be gorgeous!

Watching this fabulous princess piece come to life brings my heart so much joy!

There’s still quite a few details to be added but I am loving it! & it was not without struggle and the “help” of my super talented aunt! She took the reigns with it for sure. The struggle is due to Carolina being a totally mommy’s girl today lol here’s a pic of her second nap

Gobble gobble little turkey

She has chocolate on her face because I tried giving her a bite of a Reese’s peanut butter cup annnnd she stole it and ate the whole thing lol playing with aunt Chylon at lunch time

Annnnd I put together this huge obstacle course in our kitchen that is supposed to be a gift for someone because I just really needed something new to distract her

The finished product! I love the way it turned out! I noticed 1 or 2 small things I might adjust but overall it is perfect! From left to right: apple is Snow White, pumpkin and bird is Cinderella, purple flower and mermaid tail with bubbles is Ariel, the cherry blossom at the bottom is Mulan, the green flower is Tiana from princess and the frog, the yellow and purple flower is for rapunzel, and the rose and Miss Potts and Chip is for Beauty and the Beast!

Today Carolina took a couple bites of oatmeal and granola for breakfast, a sugar cookie lol I tried to give her some pears for lunch she wouldn’t try them. Later for a snack she had applesauce cheese and graham crackers. And eventually I got her to eat two bites of pear with her fork lol she just wanted my cup
