I’m dreaming of a white Christmas

 Except for it’s stinking hot in Texas still!!! When it’s not cold it makes it harder for me to get into the Christmas spirit. & the lights went out on our tree. Ugh. So my options are go with it or get a new tree or undecorate it and string new lights…..I don’t like my options! Monday morning was Carolinas 18 month appt where I knew she was going to have major stranger danger and flip out and get shots. So I had to start out on the right foot lol

She was surprisingly good while we waited and waved bye bye to people as they left 

As soon as we went back and I laid her down to be measured she turned into a lunatic and everything after that was game on. Took 3 people to get her temperature. It’s just a fast forehead one it’s not under the arm or in the mouth just the forehead and she FLIPPED

She was much happier when I took her home! She weighed 25 pounds and was 32.5 inches long. The dr was a little concerned she isn’t talking but said we would revisit at her 2 year. 

Much needed nap 

She has been so emotional lately the tantrums are real she just arches her back and goes limp. 

She arranged her goldfish in the kitchen lol I picked them up and she did it again. She loves having her teeth brushed! 

Tuesday I made myself the perfect cup of coffee! Two actually. Carolina was SO EMOTIONAL. Like full blown crying gagging, so I decided to try Tylenol in case something was hurting and she ended up aspirating and throwing up. Two cups was necessary.

I was jittery. Carolina took a 20 minute nap and woke up a different kid so I decided to take her to the park 

Even at the park she was emotional and scared of everything. I tried the swing and she literally just threw herself down and this is how she felt about me making her do the slide 

She finally took a nap after the park 

But she still woke up sad and I threw her in the bath with me. It was just an off day. We took her to Pam’s to visit with nanny but she just cried and was so bashful

My mom came and watched Carolina while I went to my appt. they spent the whole time on the deck playing and eating snacks. The funniest part is I told my mom I left some yogurt in the middle of the fridge for Carolina. Well she was feeding her and thought “this is really thick” and licked her finger and realized it was cream cheese! Oh my gosh I was hysterical. Apparently the cream cheese was also in the middle of the fridge haha. But the funniest part is that Carolina was just eating it! She was never upset while I was gone but she was ready for some mommy time! We went and ate gringos together too. After she was ready for a nap

If daddy is around she is a total daddy’s girl. I wish had felt that way all those nights she was waking up to nurse! 

We needed to run some errands so I could get stuff to make shirts for Christmas

And thinks it’s so funny when mommy tells her no no!

They had a grinch at the store and oh my gosh Carolina clung to me and had her arms wrapped tightly around my neck the entire time! Of course when we were leaving I needed  a picture lol “no thank you mama” 

I gave myself a headache making these shirts. I had some bad vinyl and it’s so time consuming especially with a toddler. I was furious when I pressed this shirt and it didn’t all stick! Ruined the shirt because I had bad vinyl. 

But the others came out cute! I’ll count my blessings that it didn’t happen to all 4. 

But Pam came over to bring me a quiche and offered to take Carolina for a while since my head was hurting so bad and I actually took her up on it and took a shower and laid down until Dane was ready to go get her. She enjoys playing over there! She likes the little pop it toys that are so popular

Our trees lights went out and with it being so close to Christmas and the stores wiped out I’m talking not one tree in Walmart, we decided to get a real one. 

She was a whole mood! She threw herself back when I set her down for a pic and I let her lol I only save her if she’s on tile or something I’m like eventually you’ll learn throwing your body around isn’t a good idea 

Mission accomplished 

It was POURING! While we were out picking it up it was hailing and flooding yards at home. She took a nap and so did daddy while we waited for the weather to pass 

She’s so much cuter while she’s sleeping these days lol she is one hundred percent a tantrum thrower and over the most random things. For the most part I laugh or try to ignore her til she moves on. 

Once she woke up we ran to Walmart in the rain and were only able to get a couple things on the list. Couldn’t even find plain m&ms. So I’ll be on the hunt for a couple things this week. And this woman kept running  into us on every other aisle it seemed like and making Carolina cry by getting close and talking to her I’m like look lady stranger danger back up. I’m not unfriendly but I don’t like talking to random people either lol I should move up north. Watching Winnie the Pooh and it was a scene with tigger and she went and grabbed him! So smart she always does this. 

And walking around in mamas shoes. She is obsessed with shoes but mainly other peoples 

Telling dada get out of the way you’re in front of my movie dude! She kept pushing his legs haha 

Lights are on! I MIGHT decorate once a certain tornado goes to bed 

She’s always into stuff and always hiding stuff! I found random stuff everywhere I looked for my vacuum attachment!

Tree is decorated 

This is our second tree of the season. The lights on our old one stopped working and we’ve always wanted to get a real one and never have. We decided with it being so close to Christmas now was a good time to try it out and the stores are wiped out anyways I’m talking not ONE tree in sight. This is my favorite tree we’ve ever had 🎄 it leans a little, the lights are strung by my Dane Michael and only the top half is decorated due to my toddler. But the house smells heavenly and just in time for Christmas I get to get up and drink my coffee and stare at it in all its beauty ❤️Carolina had a rough afternoon where mommy just had to put her in her crib and walk away for a minute. She gets SO upset and honestly I think being touched like when we are trying to soothe her makes it worse. When she calmed down a bit I grabbed her and took her outside to her daddy. I think my milk is drying up and leading to a little bit of strangeness in our relationship! It’s like she resents me sometimes. But she cheered up and played on the deck and daddy made us some macaroni and cheese. 

Tonight is the Christmas service at our church so I will probably cut off here and post that separately!
