Been working hard getting his room organized! Playing around with decorations and finally settled on “little blue truck” theme! It’s a cute children’s book with a blue truck and farm animals
Making so many connections! She loves to bring Dane his hat to put on…wiping her face with a napkin if you hand her one, she puts her cup at water dispenser, she found a package of baby spoons I hadn’t opened and got them opened the drawer her spoons go in and handed them to me like mom these are in the wrong spot here ya go! Handing me the pillow we use to nurse when she wants to nurse. She turns on the fan in our room at bedtime. She’s figured out the trash can except she just thinks it’s fun to throw everything away even if it’s not trash! She brings paisley her dog bowl all the time because she knows it belongs to her. She loves to open and close cabinets, drawers and doors. She loves to run and jump in her ball pit so we have to keep it off the wall so she doesn’t hit her head. She LOVES shoes. She’s still learning to climb but much more interested and a little more determined now. She still gets frustrated trying to climb the couch and will only try for a few seconds before she looks at you for help. She will blow kisses on her own terms and wave “bye bye!” The funniest thing she does or the thing that tickles me the most I should say is she clenches her fists and her jaw while showing her bottom teeth and makes her eyes big and shakes her head back and forth! It’s like an angry face and usually when she does it she’s about to do something bad or mean. But a lot of the time she does it and then kisses me. It is hysterical and I take my chances because I want the kisses! She also likes to pick her food out of the pantry and knows which cabinet has her yummy snacks. She’s very into bananas, mandarin oranges and mini waffles! & usually anything im eating she is at least curious about but somehow she always knows if it’s chocolate or ice cream. She would never beg me for a bowl of broccoli. She is also fascinated by fountain drinks with straws you can hardly have one around her because she thinks she needs to drink it all she is addicted. Thankfully she also loves to brush her teeth. At her last appointment she was 26.2 pounds and 32.5 inches long. We love her more than life itself and love watching all the changes she is making and can’t wait to see what kind of big sister she will be!
