Living room!

I don’t think I’ve ever posted my current living room, and I like to look back and see the changes haha. One of my favorite things is looking back at how it looked when we brought home Carolina June and it has certainly changed the past two years…several times!

I LOVE my new end tables that uncle pawpaw built me!! They are my pawpaw tables they’re built from wood from Morgan’s pawpaw that passed away.

I love how they look and I love that the size is custom to what we needed for this space!!

Oh my goodness the baby swing is back in place….my heart! Mantle is plain for now I haven’t decorated for summer yet! I probably will after Carolinas party.

I do good when I stick with neutrals and grey was definitely different for me I never pick grey but I’ve actually loved it with my brown! And I love my small cow and pioneer woman touches. Hopefully it will stay this way for a LONG time!

My picture wall that will have to change to accommodate not only Carolinas 18 month and 2 year old pic but also add a brand new BOY!

Let’s take a trip down memory lane shall we?

Living room when we moved in

The first thing I did was put up my Christmas tree!
December 14, 2018 ❤️💚 and oh how we had no clue that on Dec 14, 2019 we would find out we were having a baby GIRL! Here’s my living room the night of our gender reveal

Flash forward to when uncle pawpaw did our wood accent wall and wood floors! Before we got blinds.

May 2020 before we brought home our first baby! I got all decorated for summer! My favorite thing about summer is Christmas in JULY! 🎅🏻 🦩

Fast forward again to when I got my first new rug! The only reason we replaced the beige one was because Dane accidentally broke a HUGE glass lamp and glass was literally everywhere and Carolina had just started crawling I was worried since the beige was shag we would never get all the pieces out. It was the most glass I have ever seen!

Fast forward to we did the floors in our bedroom and moved this rug to our bedroom and got a new one for living room. Which opened a huge can of worms! This was a temporary fix with a free rug while I tried to make up my mind!

I landed on this…it lasted a few months.

Then this little leopard rug had a few week run HA

I have had my current set up for ALMOST 6 months and Dane told me when I got it I had to keep it 6 months haha I’m not ready to change it but good to know my time frame is almost up!
