Jan 30th was picture day...Carolina picked between two outfits and looked beautiful in her choice. We practiced taking pictures and saying cheese. I told her how she was going to smile at school for pictures and not cry and she agreed and said "ooookay"

Wellllllll on the way to school Carolina got carsick. I tried to pull over asap and even handed her a bag but she didn't want it. She threw up on her pretty outfit and all I had was a lame diaper bag outfit, not picture day worthy! And at this point with cleaning her up and changing her we're late. So then I have to get them both out and walk her in the office. I ask what time her pictures are and they say 8:15 ommmmggg! They told me they could hold her back and I could bring another outfit. Did I mention it's Tuesday so beau also has little gym at 9:15?! So beau is very unhappy with me when I put him back in the car after just a few mins. We run home I get an outfit without even getting him out then we get back to the school we run in the outfit and beau cried the entire time there and back! So we're headed to little gym set to be right on time and my phone rings and it's them saying they have no power or water and I can schedule a make up class- THANK YOU YES! By time we got home we had been in the car for two hours and unfortunately it was not long before we had to leave to go pick her up again! We went to the park when I picked her up

I tried taking some pretty pics of junie because they said she lost her mind and cried for pics

She makes me laugh. In photos where she looks aggressive like this it's because she's actually saying "cheeeseeee"

I've taken them do lots of things by myself, but the park is definitely one of the hardest and scariest. They usually end up on far end opposites and there's a lot of opportunities to get hurt. They both want to try things unassisted that they aren't big enough to do! So then I'm standing in the middle assessing the situation deciding which one to sprint towards! It's usually beau lol

Beau loves shoes. Carolina also did at that age. His favorite thing is to get Carolina's yellow rainboots. Since he was having pics made wearing John Deere green i decided to order him his own yellow pair! He was excited

Carolina was having a hard time at school and Dane was going out of town for what was supposed to be a week so I kept her home. She needed a mental health day!

She loved our Valentine decor I got out

That afternoon Carolina got some quality time at the yellow house while beau got pictures made

Gave mawmaw her footprint art! They were Twinkie's wearing the same shirt but as you can see Carolina was too excited to take a pic

Bedtime was the hardest thing to do without Dane but I just planned for Carolina to sleep with me the whole time he was gone and prayed nobody would get sick
