Invitation
I was in love with doing this party! I had so much fun.
My aunt came and helped me decorate the mantle and it's probably my favorite part! We made all the decorations together
I had this vision of it all being split down the middle
Carolina's side was inspired by polka dot puppy collection.
Adopt a puppy stations!
They could play fetch, decorate a bag and doggy certificate and give them a checkup
The two older girls got a different goodie bag, with paw print letter patches and a fuzzy initial charm.
Cake
It came out just like I wanted! I made the picks for it so it would match the decor. It's supposed to look like a muddy puppy splashed mud onto the girly tutu side of things
Dog towel in the kitchen
Dog cheese bone that looked highly inappropriate after people ate the first half!
Pawsta salad
Fruit salad cake balls and dog biscuits
Pigs n blankets Scooby snacks donut holes and sausage balls
Puppy cups for the guests
Cinnamon rolls quiche and kolaches
Iced coffee station
Little puppy at the front door
Carolina was super excited about everything being decorated! I had mixed pink with the blue on the cake table and she went and put the pink with pink and blue with blue lol
He was being SO uncooperative for picture
How she felt about her guests arriving
Hiding behind presents
We sang happy birthday to beau first and then Carolina cried when it was her turn. I was so upset because the party must go on and I couldn't stop and reason with her I had to serve cake. My good friend Melanie suggested we try again and brought me candle for her slice and Carolina did okay when people weren't paying attention to her. It ended up being sweet because I asked Carolina if mommy and daddy could sing and she said yes so we sat next to her and quietly sang and the room got quiet and everyone joined in. I'm so glad Melanie could see I was emotional and ready to cry over it because her idea worked great
All in all this was the best party we've ever had! Both the kids had a great time and did amazing with the crowd
