ARD and stupid storm

They were playing Dr for the longest time that day and it was soooo funny they each kept leaving the room and coming back limping saying "ouch! My leg my leg!"

May 15th we had our Ard redo and also her teacher let me know there was a bad lice case in her room. Her teacher was PISSED bc she said the parents knew and sent them anyway. I sure did run to Walmart and start buying what I could to protect Carolina...I was paranoid everytime my kid touched her head or i was feeling paranoia about my own hair. But look how pretty the lice prevention shampoo made her curls!!!!

I was a nervous wreck today. Dane was off for her first ARD where we didn't come to an agreement but he couldn't be off today for the second ARD with the director of special programs. I walked in alone, head held high, with two toddlers...scared to death hoping for the best. God worked it out how He saw fit and it was in our favor. Hallelujah! 

Next stop, PK4- trying out half her time in SPED and half in Gen Ed to see how she adapts 🍎

May 16 we ended up with a huge storm that blew windows out of highrishers in Houston. It was like a dang hurricane! We lost power there was no school.

Beau has been doing this with all of his riding toys! It's cracks us up and he's so proud 

I was super bummed because the cougar of the month ceremony got cancelled. We don't get to do much with the school they don't have lots of activities and it was special for Carolina. But her teacher sent home her yard sign the next week
