SUMMER // VBS

Carolina made a smiley face on her ice cream! 

The first couple days of summer daddy was gone! 

The kids love orbit! It was fun eating at a local taco place that supports the Astros, we were picking up a yard orbit! 

We went to see the new lilo and stitch movie with mawmaw! 

Beaus first movie 

I was pretty impressed with beau! He did great for the movie and I was very skeptical about taking him

since he doesn't like to sit still 

We waited up for daddy to come home 

Not surprisingly Carolina's favorite slow summer activity has been crafting! She loves making hearts and drawing portraits. One day she wanted to watch something and I wasn't quite sure what it was so she drew me a picture of the wild Kratt brothers Chris and Martin and one is green and one is blue. She came and told me all about it 

This was a boat 

Carolina wanted Mac n cheese for dinner and I had already started cooking spaghetti so we had both lol

Beau got really into dinner this night 

Dane took the kids to his moms for a bit and I was getting some wild pics sent to me 

They said papa had to walk away because he was wearing a heart monitor lol 

We went to Walmart and then to nanas for more swimming and crafts on June 3rd! 

We saw 7 deer on the way home, it was magical 

Wagon rides 

Uncle pawpaw brought me some green chili stew and I walked him out. I said I better get back in beau's probably eating my soup! Uncle les said "doubt it!" Sure enough I walked in to this! I thought "he'll never believe me!" So I took a pic and ran back out the door to show him! 

Beau got an early bday present. He loves police officers and puppies...I wanted to use it for his party so I gave it to him early. 

Carolina got a giant bean bag cover in the mail to stuff all her stuffed ankmals  in 

MORE SWIMMING

Beau was acting crazy lol he missed his nap. He was rolling in the grass standing on the swings covering up with towels on the bench...he was nuts! 

We were party prepping and I had volunteered for VBS and had to get going, it was two nights in a row before his party so I was nervous about getting everything done! Dane stayed with the kids the first night and the second night was family night! The first night I got paired with the 2-3rd grade girl group along with another mom. We had gym activity, snack, Bible lesson and craft. The VBS theme was laying a firm foundation for our life on Christ and so they did a construction theme 

Beau was happy to wake up to his bean bag cover 

Mommy Carolina time! She accessorized her tiger 

We stopped for lunch because Carolina requested chips and green and red sauce but let me know she would only eat the green and mommy had to eat red. 

Well, right when we were leaving I reached for to go box and a whole glass of tea fell in my lap! So embarrassing! I just laughed and bought a new outfit when we got to Walmart 

She excited to brush paisley and I was excited about it too she's been shedding horribly 

Family night! It was a PARTY! A ministry called blitz came and it was like a game show. So fun! 

We brought the cousin 

Random rubber chickens they handed out at random 

Jaelyn got to participate 

It was a great time and honestly a great distraction from the non important nitty gritty party planning to shift my focus on the only thing that matters in life- a firm foundation!
