Roses Tulips and Tibbetts: Carolina's kitty cat party

I couldn't be more TICKLED PINK with how her 5th birthday photos turned out!

Her favorite part was playing with the yarn.

What inspired the idea for the cat party and yarn was Carolina loving getting my nana's yarn tangled up! We borrowed it from her for the photos and her party decor.

My favorite part of her party decor was this banner! I lucked out with this. I had been going back and forth about a back drop and we attended Ellie's party and she had a painted banner, I found out Melanie's friend painted it who I've met at parties several times and hit her up to make me one and she was able to squeeze us in the short time frame! She knocked it out of the park! I sent her the bday photos and a pic of some decor and she made it happen.

I took way too many pictures but it was awkward trying to get them in a time crunch since we did it at a bounce place this year and I just wanted to make sure I got good pics of everything because I put my heart and soul into this party for months!!

This is honestly my favorite party I've ever done! I loved the way all the pink and sparkle came together and the little yarn balls I made came out so cute

I was glad I made these pink tissue poms....I didn't know what I was going to use them for and they worked perfectly to cover the ugly metal brackets they had on the wall! We were going to do a balloon arch but they're a lot of work (for me, and take up room traveling with them) and my friend that was going to help me got sick

I took so many pics of the table and couldn't decide which angle or style looked best

The day before the party I decided to use the leftover material and make a table runner. I had told one of my besties I was tapped out on the party and not doing anything else and when I sent her the pic of the runner she said "that is the opposite of tapping out!"

We had some time before guests arrived so I wanted pics before Carolina got hot sweaty and messed up her hair!

Carolina had a blast! Her party was slow to get started. We had several people not show and several come late. But she was a good sport and really excited when people showed up. I will say summer is hard because people are busy and doing it at a place with limited time is hard for the people who show up late.
