Pedi/endless highway concert

The day after Carolina's party was Romie and Ellie's baptism. I was honored to be Ellie's god mother so of course we went to their church. 

Carolina was in her element! She's very mature and loves pretty things she loved this church. 

The next few days we did lots of swimming and chilling!

Carolina dressed herself! She's really obsessed with ladybugs ever since the Easter bunny brought her rainboots for Easter 

She did puzzles with nana for a long time 

They both had pedi well checks. It should have been a breeze because they weren't due for vaccines but mean ole mama decided to let them do the finger prick (to put it delicately) because they were overdue for it but I didn't want to take them to a lab. Well they had it in office (test for lead) so we did it. It's pretty gruesome....you have to wash your hands and air dry them and then they do a prick and squeeze their finger to death to get the blood in a tiny tube.

Beau cried for 20 minutes and kept saying "I told you I didn't want to do that!"

Nothing a cake pop can't fix.

Then on Friday June 27th beau Michael hopped on this bike for the first time and by the second time around the block he was a pro! He is very experienced he's been riding his tricycle for well over a year but this was much bigger, it's actually too big for him. 

He got in trouble the second time for leaving me in the dust. I was screaming as loud as I could for him to stop and he kept looking back at me saying "I'll stop at the stop sign!" I told him he better stop now or I was taking the bike away! It was quite terrifying. I was running as fast as I could and couldn't catch him. I had crocs on. He had got some serious speed and got too far away from me. I was just praying a car didn't come. He finally pulled into someone's driveway and waited for me and I couldn't breathe my heart was pounding! 

Carolina tried but she can't figure out how to keep the peddles moving she goes backwards or hits the brake. But she has no experience she's never figured out how to ride the tricycle either.

We went to eat at "the monkey spot" as Carolina calls it after church. 

You can see her little red dress hanging out on the end. She befriended two big girls and they stayed with her the whole time and were so sweet to her and asking her lots of questions. They had some war going on with a boy who kept yelling "Carolina!" She would crack up and the big girls would run him off lol
