Roses Tulips and Tibbetts: MLK day and a freeze

We got a freeze! Great timing since there was no school!

We got some ice that morning so I hindered them up to go see it. It's funny how kids are immune to the cold! They would say "brrrr cold!" But they weren't bothered and would have stayed out if my hands weren't going numb telling them we had to go in! Lol

It was a FREEZING cold and boring day!!

Since we don't often get freezing weather I wanted them to experience it! I opened the windows to let them hang out for a minute. It was a good distraction for a little bit they thought it was fun

They were funny taking turns switching sides

That night as I was giving them a bath Dane tells me its SNOWING! Are you kidding?!? We just got in the tub!! So of course the only thing to do is rush to get everyone out to go see it!

They weren't all that impressed it was more for mommy than them! Back to the tub we go....pretty sure they all thought I was crazy!

I love this baby in her footed pjs! Some of my core memories with her are sitting her on the kitchen counter in the mornings to make her chocolate milk and my coffee...I get deja vu when I see her there now

School got cancelled! We ventured down the street to Pam's...it was the safest place to go and we hadn't left the house since Saturday when we went to urgent care and this was Tuesday. It's hard to stay locked up with two babies.

Back to school Wednesday...it was 25 degrees when I dropped her off! Ugh. She was less than thrilled to be woke up and ready. She wanted to stay home stay warm and watch blues clues!

Carolina had a great day back! She has been getting lots of notes about being a role model, class leader, talking lots more and being the main participant in class! So proud of her progress.

Snuggly babies Thursday morning

Ok. I've been a mom of 1 baby in diapers for 3 1/2 years and 2 in diapers for 1 1/2 year...I watched Dane change Carolina's diaper the other night and noticed he didn't take both legs out...you can just take the one leg out with the zipper and put the diaper under and wrap around without taking both legs out.... I QUIT!

Beau picked up one of my coffee grounds and ate it...he did not like it and I couldn't stop laughing!

That will teach the little stinker!

School for sissy 💜

I noticed that morning we had low water pressure. It happens time to time and I didn't think much of it. Me and beau went to Walmart and i started getting phone calls from everyone saying there's a water leak in the yard somewhere. Long story short it was on city easement under our greenhouse so they tore it down. We went to Pam's after school since we had no water and there were workers.

Dane got home early so we went home and let the kids see the process

Carolina was a little distressed and saying "oh no they broke it" and hiding between my legs

We went to my moms where Carolina surprised me by eating an orange. I wonder if they eat them at school breakfast?

The little gym for Carolina! We're trying it out on Saturdays to see how it goes.

She was very taken off guard when she was supposed to go in without me. She was very excited before and was saying "my turn??" And waiting patiently. She was NOT having it. After her bawling and being soooo upset they told me I could sit in the room against the wall and to just not interact with activities. She laid in my lap a lot of the time. And a new friend named Olivia really wanted to be with her!
