Beaus first zoo trip

 

Listen. March 4th Carolina was supposed to go on a field trip to HLSR. My mama heart couldn't do it, we backed out. Dane and i were going to attend, but we had to follow the school bus. She would be on the bus without a car seat. My anxiety got the best of me. I kinda regret not letting her go but I do feel like they were valid reasons. Also, Danes days off have been far and few between so I didn't want to drop beau off (siblings not allowed) when we could have a family day. Sooo we went to Houston zoo as a family instead! It was awesome because it was beaus first time at the zoo and Dane got to go for the first time with us.

Beau got excited about all the different primates 

The thing Carolina talked about most were giraffes zebras and HIPPOS. She begged to see a hippo. But they don't have one right now! Beau enjoyed everything and just mimicked every animal we said. I really like the elephants. 

The last time me and Carolina were at the zoo we took a picture in front of this giraffe and I was pregnant with Beau! I just didn't know it. I even talked to my cousin about potentially selling my glider and a couple other baby items because I didn't think I wanted another baby! Haha it wasn't a week later I found out I was expecting

Lunch time 

We went in the reptile house and Carolina kept saying she wanted to see frogs "Ribbit" but we didn't see any frogs! 

Beau needed a Power Nap! It was a hot day for march 

I crawled in this tunnel thing to try to persuade them to do it. It's underground but has big clear domes where you can stick your head up and watch the mole rats but they didn't want to do it. Then I tried again with a fish tunnel where there's water on top or bottom of you with fish and you can see and it scared Carolina she didn't like me in there at ALL! 

They barely made it out of the parking lot without falling asleep in the car.
