This was the funniest cake! One piece with no pecans or coconut for my kids and another piece with the pecan glaze minus the coconut for my mom LOL

Officially time for Easter wardrobe! It was pretty cold this march and interfered with our wardrobe.

An ellie mellie play date 🫶🏻 they played with eggs in cool whip and food color. Melanie always plans the best stuff for them she loves to do Montessori/ sensory stuff and Carolina really enjoys it

Somehow beau fell out of the chair and his ear got punched in it because it was a folding chair 

It's so exciting doing things with them. Carolina is really getting the hang of things which is exciting and then it's so easy with beau and new to us because Carolina was never involved at his age. Fun all around! 

We were so impressed with Eva because she went and put some of her eggs back so Carolina could find more.

I hate that pitiful bruise on Carolina's chin! She was in the dining room and slipped on a piece of paper and I was honestly so scared she busted her teeth or her jaw.

Ok embarrassed to admit this but this was the first egg hunt we've done at home! We usually do them at both grandparents and in the past Carolina didn't participate so at home I would just put some eggs around their baskets Easter morning! But this year we did it and they had a good time and understood.

Church. We had a fun Easter! Everyone at my moms was sick so we postponed our Easter celebration with them

I noticed that morning Carolina's eye looked watery or something but she never complained. Well when she woke up from her nap after church her eye was stuck together and she was really upset 

So we ended up at urgent care that evening where they confirmed pink eye. She ended up staying home several days over this because it passed to the other eye. She did amazing at the urgent care we were really proud of her. I was not thrilled to have to do eye drops 4 times a day and neither was she but she actually did better than I anticipated. Spoiler alert: we ended up with pink eye a second time and beau got it as well
