Roses Tulips and Tibbetts: Spring break

First day of spring break we went to the bayou wildlife zoo! It was COLD! Hate that about spring break! You never know.

Beau was not a fan

He was screaming over the ostrich

These wild girls were unbothered by the ostrich's! I don't like them either! I hide the food when they come to me.

Carolina had talked all morning about the zebras and saying "zebra where are you?!"

Beau judt wanted to be bundled up the whole time, which is funny because he's my daredevil.

So I couldn't resist going in the gift shop and buying Carolina a zebra considering it was the highlight of the trip. Well we picked a giraffe for jaelyn and came out to give them to them and Carolina said "no thanks! Don't like it!" And wanted the giraffe. Sooooo we walked back in and they let us exchange for a giraffe.

There is a 6 month old giraffe in the back

Beau picked out a pig. He's more of a farm boy, he doesn't like the wildlife.

I wanted to recreate the photos of her and Carolina from her last birthday, when she turned 80 1/2

Beau enjoyed the snuggles and Carolina enjoyed the chocolate cake...in the hallway away from everyone lol

To end spring break I took them to ihop for breakfast

Then we went to this little store called pop shelf and I let them walk around and pick stuff, I figured I would be able to put majority of it in their Easter baskets and that it would be cool to see what they would pick. It was a little stressful, two toddlers running around where there's lots of things they want! They had fun but in hindsight i wouldn't do this again because majority of what they picked went to the trash shortly after

Then I took them to a bounce place which was also very stressful because they are both brave and take off in opposite directions and I'm trying to watch both of them and it was crowded! Beau climbed up this HUGE slide by himself and came down I was like O M G

We haven't been back lol

There was a storm rolling in where we might lose power and Dane was working so we went to Pam and Karl's since their generator would automatically come on.
