Daddy daughter dance

Monday the 3rd! Beau was done with me and missing his daddy and papa! Daddy was still gone and papa was busy so uncle Dylan had to do! 

Uncle Dylan took him to get donuts. We had el toro for lunch with nana green house. 

I got to spend some alone time with junie because beau stayed with nana and papa while I picked her up from school. I got to have a picnic in the entryway with Carolina and loved her telling me about her day. She says "sure!" A lot. Would you like a spoon? "Sure!" And "that be fine!" She told me she missed her friends and that her "boy" and "girl" are her best friends and that boy gave her a hug. I asked her if she could tell me their names and she said angel (the boy) and Shiloh (the girl!) it was a big milestone to me for her to be able to relay any kind of information! She is just so funny and sweet and grabbed a piece of purple lettuce out of my salad and told me she liked it because it was purple lol 

Tuesday! 

Beau had been begging for donuts. We got kolache at DD and took him to see papa

I had gotten word from Dane he would be home late that night and I was THRILLED! I got them to sleep in beaus bed so Dane would have a spot in his own bed when he got home but beau came to my bed and Carolina came

shortly after Dane got home. 

They were confused when they woke up in bed with daddy Wednesday morning! lol

I had her dressed in this 

She didn't like the denim jacket and picked this yellow cardigan instead

Feb 6th was the 100th day of school! 

Just a boy and his dog 

Beau had a blast playing in the sink and he had the whole kitchen wet 

I tried everything to get Beau to nap before I went to the Dr but he wouldn't! He fell asleep booty up at papas house! Nana picked up Carolina from school. 

100th day of school parade! 

June 7th daddy got off early for the daddy daughter sweetheart dance! We had been talking it up to junie and beau got jealous. So beau said he wanted blue flowers 

I told Dane he doesn't understand and to just let him go with him to pick Carolina's flowers and he could have some too. They picked Carolina up from school with flowers! 

They got mommy flowers too. I had been feeling sick and my nana was in the hospital with Covid so I had been down, daddy said I needed flowers too!

My biggest prayer as their parents is that we never do anything to hurt them. Rather it's unintentional or not. 

Beaus arms look so freaky here I told Dane to put him down lol

She requested green sauce for dinner 

Dane texted me and told me she ditched him for some little girls. It made us happy though that she was being so social! 

He said they were all being really quiet on the ramp outside listening for something and all of the sudden Carolina did her T. rex arms and "raaaawwwr"d and she scared the girls so they screamed and then Carolina screamed because they scared her! I cracked up. Dane said she also barked at one point two little girls were like "that one girl is barking!" I think they were older than her but it made me laugh, Carolina doesn't change who she is based on the audience or environment!

I got these pics off the city's website. I was disappointed that there weren't any fresh pics of them but also Dane and Carolina aren't the type to jump in the spotlight or in front of the camera, what matters is they had fun and she felt treasured. 

Dane took her for ice cream after because the ice cream machine at El toro was broken 

She fell asleep on the couch! She kept telling us she wasn't tired but she could barely keep her eyes open. I told Dane to just let her fall asleep and carry her to bed! 

Carolina has a Polly pocket necklace and she attached eeyore to it

Matching my tiny valentines for church 

Watching something on tv where the mom was mad and Carolina said "mommy that's you!" And immediately I felt bad and thought oh no why does she think that. So I asked her "why is that mommy?" And she put her finger out and said "eat your food!" LOL well yeah I do say that! 

Beau is so thoughtful and considerate. Just some examples: I told him my tummy was hurting and a few mins later he said "mommy, I'm sorry your tummy hurts" he always tells me I'm pretty! He tells me things like "mommy I like your heart earrings." "I like your new shirt mommy" I always make a point to compliment him back, he enjoys being complimented as well.
