Monday after spring break- Easter outfit!
Mid photo Carolina started pouting....I think it dawned on her we were about to walk out the door....I had to leave her teary eyed on the curb, insert broken heart *here*
She had a good day but school was a struggle this week! She enjoyed her time home with us and we certainly enjoyed her! After school we went to hobby lobby and she picked bday fabric, it cheered her up. She has definitely been around the women in my family she's good at matching fabric and ribbon! So proud
Tuesday was another hard morning Carolina was confused and thought it was church day. Melanie came over with the girls while I made birthday cake for uncle pawpaw

Carolina has come a long way and loves to party! She sang happy birthday and clapped and smiled that million dollar smile of hers! Aunt Chylon made a delicious dinner...Paula Deans twice baked shrimp potatoes. When Carolina walked in she knew exactly who to hand the fabric to, and aunt Chylon said "I'm going to make you a dress for your birthday!" To which Carolina responded "a dress that swings when I turn like this!" And twirled in a circle holding her dress! Very specific but aunt Chylon said she would make it happen lol we're going to miss her when she's gone!

We didn't get home until after 7 and it was difficult! We barely saw Dane he couldn't come to dinner he was working a turnaround and it was time for bed.
Wednesday morning...another rough morning! Carolina did not want to go to school again and I didn't have the heart to make her....it's just prek! She asked me if she had school and I excitedly said "yes!" Thinking she was finally back into routine and her whole face sunk and she started crying and said she wanted to stay home with me. Okay sis! Dont have to ask this mama twice I miss you too! I sat her in *HER* spot and made that baby some chocolate milk! Made me wanna cry, I have a million pics of her sitting here with a stuffed animal and cup of ovaltine...we've done this since she was around 18 months old

We went to the fabric store, made some Easter feet prints, went for a walk, played in the water hose!
Let beau help pick out fabric. It's not exactly what I would have picked but that's okay
Unfinished Easter art.....made me so sad! I was very aware while doing this that it would probably be our last. I've done feet prints since they were born and for every holiday. I'm kicking myself for not doing new ones at Christmas time but they have reindeer feet on Christmas paper framed from their first Christmas and also handprint trees that I did on brown paper and framed that I'm obsessed with! Anyways, it was one of those lasts that I was expecting and knew would probably be the last and it was SAD! One of my besties (Melanie) suggested that I get 24x36 canvases and make them do them until they're 18! LOL I don't think she was joking either
Beau wanted to pull the wagon and Carolina wanted out, so it was pointless lol but Beau loves anything with wheels so he had fun
I caught her making a funny face but she loves playing with these pot holders nana crochet for me
Beau took literally a CAT NAP like 20/30 mins at most. So he was acting really special the rest of the day! Carolina was acting very tired too so I really wanted to get everyone in bed early so she would be ready and excited to go back to school the next morning!

My favorite time of year! We love baseball, hands down the best sport!
They opened the car door at school and we had Who let the dogs out pretty loud, they got a kick out of it!
Beau is not a morning person on school mornings when I can't just sit on the couch with him. He was upset that his pajamas got wet in the rain. Mawmaw came to have lunch with junie

Carolina was very excited and had been having a good day! As soon as her teacher started walking in the cafeteria she stopped and said "Mrs. Megan I have to tell you I got a good laugh this morning" cue the oh no what did my kid do lol she said "I asked Carolina where she was yesterday and if she was sick and she said "no! I woke up I told mommy I no wanna go to school!"" Mrs Carrizal gets some good laughs out of this girl! She said hey at least she's honest! She assured Carolina nobody was ready to come back from spring break and told her good job using her words! Lol

Carolina told me she didn't want to go to school again, but this time she wasn't crying and I laughed and said you have to go today and she laughed too

We ran some errands and he fell asleep in the car at like 10:30 on the way home 10 mins away from the house
I went to let the dogs in the garage when it started raining and conveniently the door BROKE like the latch from the knob AFTER I went outside. I thought beau locked me out. He was trying to open it and I heard him turn the dead bolt back and forth I couldn't understand why the door wouldn't open. It was 15 mins before time to get Carolina, raining, and nobody was answering the phone! I was actually on the phone with my mom when it happened but she was driving around with an injured seagull in her car and no I'm not kidding LOL beau let me in the back door thankfully but he honestly wasn't that concerned with me being locked out...see below

Something funny they both did this week was when they wanted to "argue" or tell me something Carolina said "mom, listen I wanna talk a minute"
And beau said "mommy listen I'm saying something"
Beau has also said "nothing mommy, I'm talking to myself!" LOL
Sunday morning Carolina woke up and Dane had slept with her and she crawled over him and looked out her window and said "the sun is out time to get up!" He asked me if I taught her that, nope but I wish I had because how cute!
Saturday we stayed home allllllll the live long day they didn't wanna do anything....until I realized our dryer broke! I called Pam to ask if I could bring some stuff over and we ended up all going because they had Brayden for his bday coming up.
So Sunday was reserved for dryer shopping and a trip to Costco and new doorknobs lol so much fun in one day! Easter feet finished!

Our church got some bad publicity and while we support our pastor and what he stated we are a little uncomfortable going right now because people are crazy....I don't want to get into much detail but I'm sad thinking about Easter where you always have a bunch of random visitors...is it going to be safe? Just this weekend Beau told Dane "daddy I love church!" Both of them love church, it breaks my heart but we want to keep them safe and let this HOPEFULLY die down.
Had to run to Pam's because we couldn't find beaus bicycle at home, so they played for about an hour.
