Spring break

 

Day one of spring break 🩷 pam came over and we spent several hours doing more yard work, this time we cleaned up the side of our house where there were random trees growing up and bricks in a pile and old garden borders to be dug up! Again, Beau helped! Carolina just played in the front yard and enjoyed herself. When we were done beau needed his nap and Carolina went home with Pam for a while. When beau woke up I went to retrieve my child and we played a while! They were giving me a mini heart attack every seconds 

Sweet babies in mamas bed! Dane came home way later than planned and slept in beaus bed 

Well we didn't see Dane Monday night or Tuesday morning because he turned around and went to work again! He was due home around noon but I knew he would need a nap and they wouldn't let him so I got the kids out. We went to dollar tree, firehouse subs and went and let Carolina pick some flowers from the garden center. They are HER flowers! She was so mad because papa mowed over her purple weed flowers in the backyard lol 

In the car she randomly started singing "who let the dogs out? Who who who?" Me and Pam died laughing! I asked her where she heard that song and she said at school! Apparently their gym teacher plays it in PE

Wednesday we went to the children's museum with Melanie and Ellie! 

We met for lunch at el toro and saw the police cars!

This was too long for Beau to reach so he was holding the feet bar with his hands and just doing the flinstones with his feet. It was so funny so me and Melanie were laughing, he got his feelings so hurt and ran off and cried and said he didn't want us to laugh at him. I felt so bad. I tried explaining we weren't making fun of him that it was just cute and he's so funny it made me laugh. I also told him I was proud of him for finding a new way to ride the bike and he did a good job, but he was pretty sad. 😢 

I pushed them both around this track on the bike one time and felt like dying 

Mail carrier beau! He thought he was a police officer. He kept running and saying "somebody in trouble cmon!"

Carolina remembers that there used to be two pink bouncy pigs in this section and was asking me where they went 

They were OUT on the way home! I called Dane and we were leaving Mont belvieu at same time and ended up pulling in the drive way together. Pam and Karl showed up with mulch and soil for our back flower bed were starting and helped me plant Carolina's azaleas 

Thursday was supposed to be mawmaw day but she had a yucky abcessed tooth. We played outside and enjoyed the new clean view and beautiful weather 

I was FaceTiming nana when beau brought me this earth worm on a shovel and wanted to show her lol

Stealing my coffee while beaus sleeping on me and I can't do anything about it lol she thought she was so funny. She has been into cats and acting like a cat for a while, but she's been saying she was having an Abby Cadabby party. Until she all of the sudden decided she wanted a cat party, specifically Marie from aristocats. 

I pulled them in the wagon to the park to play. Carolina was on another level of grumpy! I decided we would eat dinner on the deck to try and make it fun and they were a MESS! Me and Dane both were like okay 20 mins til bedtime yall are insane! 

Friday was mommy Carolina day! We also were making up for missing book character day at school. She of course wanted to dress as a cat last minute when I thought we were doing her pinkalicious Easter book. It was also cold so we just had to throw some things together...she was a unique cat lol 

Dropped off beau...

Went to target for breakfast and cake pop! 

Let her pick a special toy...she wanted the Moana pig! 

Then it was time to see Ellie at Barnes and noble 

I love shopping and hanging out with her alone! We never get to do that we always have baby brother. We love him too but it's nice having some girl time with the one who made me a mama! 

She is super brave and climbed across this thing at the park. I knew it hurt and that she had rope burn, I went and got her down she was hanging like a sloth but it really bruised too! Bless her heart.

Carolina's been here! 

We got the garage cleaned the yard cleaned the side of the house cleaned and created a new walkway/pad for garbage cans...it was busy and after several days of hard work in a row it got to me and I was a little sun burnt. I need to remember sunscreen for all of us! This yard has been like a box of chocolates for 5 years...you never know what you're gonna get! We dig up concrete and metal and pvc pipes everytime we get back there. Just a little more to go where the greenhouse was and we'll hopefully be done..but as of now it's the best it's ever been! 

Sunday was a mess...our plans didn't turn out but I went to Joann's to look for fabric for Carolina's birthday outfit with aunt Chylon while the kids stayed with Dane and it didn't pan out well. They marked prices up for liquidation company, I found one fabric I liked a lot but it seemed to expensive! And they were doing a 2 yard minimum cut. I decided against it. We had lunch at Panda Express, came home had Beau take a nap and we had to run to Walmart.

Spring break went too fast! I was very emotional about my baby going back to school, mainly because she was emotional about it. We did the kissing hand and talked about summer being around the corner.
