Soaking up the time

Beau wanted one too so thankfully he had one in the closet 

Carolina dressed up like a ladybug and had a little ladybug purse and kept coming in with the sweetest voice saying "byyyeeee! Gotta fly away!" And she told us she caught a baby lizard in her purse. I was almost scared to check I kinda believed her lol her and Beau love dressing up lately. Superheroes, bees and bugs, police and fireman. And playing with their new backpacks like they're going to school. She said her teacher was a mermaid. 

Beau is always saying how big and strong he is and that he wants to be like daddy or one of his pawpaws. He told us he wants a job at the shop with daddy when he grows up. 

Being a boy mom is watching for the garbage truck 

We went to one of our favorite coffee places for lunch with Melanie and jaelyn came along 

Beau was carrying around the shell from a cicada bug!

Beau really wanted this bike but we told him to keep practicing on the ones from nanas house and maybe he would get one for Christmas 

What do you mean it won't always be like this?! As much as I cringe over messes I truly love finding little toys arranged around the house. These are the best days of my life and I'm painfully aware! 

The moments are slipping by so fast 

We went to a bday party July 19th. Carolina made cards for them it was a joint party. This one was my favorite, it was for Karter and she drew Cookie Monster and Elmo 

This one was a bday cake with candles! She pretended to blow them out 

We had family pics scheduled for before the party so it was a busy day. The pictures were actually at the same time as the party but we were able to make it work

We did pics here last summer and the kids had fun and did so well...and my photographer was offering minis so I booked some!

Carolina loves playing candy land. Sometimes she cheats and you have to put her in place lol if you have to go backwards she laughs and says "haha! You have to go back!" But she's a good sport when she has to go back and if she doesn't win. She will thump your player over if she wins too, lol she's a stinker! We were playing and she said "I go first I'm the leader you're the back" and I laughed and said you're so funny to which she responded "I know!" 

Carolina was so precious singing to this bunny and putting it in bed in her picnic basket with a blanket and rocking it 

These people have my heart! 

Carolina and I ran some errands while beau stayed and played with Jaelyn! 

Lots of sunshine this summer! We had a playdate with a friend from the neighborhood at one of the splash pads around town

I asked the kids what they thought a cloud tastes like, first Carolina very curiously and surprised said "I don't know!" Then I asked Beau and he said "FOOOOD!" And Carolina said "ask me again mamom!" And she responded "a cookie" that time. 

She now loves playing the cloud game and asks me to ask her all the time what a cloud tastes like. She one night said "like coffee for you mamomm!" So sweet. She has also said chocolate milk, Pepsi and some other silly answers like cat butts lol
