10 months of loving Carolina June

 Sunday April 18th was Carolina June’s 10 month birthday! She spends most of her days standing. She has 6 teeth. She begs for food now but still loves her frequent drive through at the Dairy Queen! She weighs 25 pounds and 4 ounces. She takes steps along furniture while holding on. She’s hilarious. I mean I was not prepared for her to have this much personality! She is super sassy and puts her hands on her hips when I take something away or relocate her haha. She knows when I say “no no” because if she’s not laughing at me for telling her no she’s pouting over it. I mean the facial expressions on this girl are just super dramatic. She is now a professional crawler-when I go to the bathroom she crawls down the hall after me and it she is so fast it is like a sight straight from a horror film! I have noticed her lifting her leg a couple times like she’s going to climb up at any moment! She’s goes to bed in her room every night but usually ends up with us by 3 AM. Hey it’s a start! Her favorite movie is princess and the frog, and she still loves when I sing Winnie the Pooh to her!

 A year ago on this day we were showered with gifts for Carolina June (corona style) and I had just quit my job that I was miserable at and gave me unhealthy anxiety/stress daily...I had just found out I had gestational diabetes and there was so much uncertainty about the virus. God made everything work together...I say this all the time and it is my special verse I picked for Carolina but “he has made everything beautiful in its time!”
