Roses Tulips and Tibbetts: Busy week….

I have got a couple things up my sleeve so I’ve been busy preparing this week! I keep forgetting to post this! I’ve posted pics of her wearing her charm bracelet we got her but you couldn’t really see it. It’s a heart link bracelet with a teddy bear! I am obsessed it is so sweet. She does REALLY good with it! She’s weird about me putting it on or taking it off but once it’s on she doesn’t mess with it. I wasn’t sure if we would give it to her for her bday or Christmas depending on how she did but I’m glad we could give it to her now because the teddy bear can represent her first Winnie the Pooh bday party! We MIGNT get her a tiny snowflake for Christmas but I really like how it looks with just one charm for now I don’t want to overload it or fill it up too quickly. I like for charm bracelets to be sentimental and each charm to actually represent something. I considered adding something to represent her dedication but I haven’t decided. But that’s my point anyways I want it to represent a special birthday, her dedication one day if she decides to dance or play a sport! Not just fill it up with “cute” things.

Sunday night she only woke up one time and she woke up so happy Monday morning! I sent these pics to my mom and she said “she is just so freakin cute!” And I said “I know, that’s why I have six pictures of her playing with a hair clip! Lol”

I really have lots to do this week but the timing is delicate! Monday she was in such a good mood I really just enjoyed being home with her. Tuesday it was a very ugly nasty day!

Like I said busy week as I was hosting a surprise bday dinner for my mother in laws 65th birthday! We did some shopping and sneaking around to get chairs and tables and lots of cleaning. I used toilet bowl bleach cleaner and cleaned my grout!

Just one of those things I decided to do so I didn’t have a breakdown lol Dane told me “you think you like hosting parties but you don’t!” He’s right lol I like picking a theme and decorating but not so much getting the food and cleaning…don’t get me wrong I love a clean house but I don’t like feeling rushed and I don’t like cleaning after people leave it drives me INSANE! I basically burn my house down with bleach lol I was not like this before Carolina was born. Anyways here’s some cute things Carolina did! She stood in front of her ball pit and fell backwards! Lol

We worked on eating more meals and snacks a day to try and help her wean and are also trying a new “wake window” where she takes two naps and is awake 3-4 hours in between each sleep until bed time

She knows what to do with the spoon and she tries but drops it. She did some organizing / decorating which is my absolute favorite thing she does right now. She is so my child lol

I’m introducing her to milk! She likes it but likes to play with it more than drink it. She smooshes the nipple to smear milk on her tray

My baby was perfect with her meals and wake window Monday Tuesday but the rest of the week she really struggled with sleep. She didn’t want naps she didn’t go to bed at her normal time and woke up all night. One day she didn’t take a nap at all put her to bed at 7 and she woke up shortly after what?!? Morning snuggles with mama!

Another thing to add to our list this week was putting our bedroom back together after our floors were finished! Uncle pawpaw came a couple days to make finishing touches. Breakfast with mom!

She ate some oatmeal banana and Cheerios! We left the baby with my in laws while we put our room back together. Just makes it much more efficient to do it without a little shadow.

I think our floors are gorgeous and I’m obsessed with the turnout! We even moved our living room rug and curtains in there because I love the blue so much! Now I have to figure out something for the living room…I’m feeling some Monica Geller vibes!
