This girl was so sleepy Sunday morning and we were going a pretty good ways to look at a house so we had to wake her up. I followed Dane he was in the work truck he needed to go by the shop and get some helium but on the way I had to pull over at the gas station because I heard Carolina coughing making a weird noise and for some reason even though she does that all the time i got a weird feeling. Sure enough i go around to her side of the car and she had thrown up! So I got her out and cleaned her up and her seat up. I think she either got car sick or her tummy just wasn’t settled because I nursed her right before we left. Thankfully the shop wasn’t too far away and I got to sit on the back with her 

I hate that my car doesn’t have air vents in the back I kept wondering if she had fever but truly I think she was just hot. I usually turn the ac all the way up to make sure she is cool back there but this day I just forgot. We looked at the house and loved it…a shop on five acres outside the city limits. Basically the dream…we would eventually build a house on the back of the property. But there are some cons as well. We rolled the dice and put in an offer with a 7 day option period that way if they do accept our offer we still have 7 days to think it over.  We enjoyed a two hour nap together on Sunday afternoon!

Girls best friend 

She wore this outfit when she was like 7 months old and it barely snapped it was the only time she wore it…it’s size 24 months. I put it away but my girl had gotten so long and skinny I was going through some of her stuff the other day! 

Paisley girl had a follow up at the vet for her ears Monday and since they come and get her from the car I decided to just take Carolina with me this time. She did good I never even got her out of her seat she watched Sesame Street the whole time. But was ready for nap by time we were done because we got up at like 6 something. I hadn’t slept a wink thinking about the house all night. 

Vet : paisley needs to take a heart worm pill once a month antibiotics twice a day for a month and ear flush every other day 

Me: can you do it? 

Lol she doesn’t do pills well so they were nice enough to give her the heart worm pill and the antibiotics were fifty dollars and I told her I’m being transparent that’s just not gonna happen there’s no way with Carolina I’m gonna be able to fool with giving her a pill twice a day! No matter what I put them in she manages to eat the food and spit the pill out. So we jus have to do the ear flush for awhile…I’m writing this Wednesday and we still haven’t done it. Lol fur babies really take the back seat once you have a real baby. Nana came over for some iced coffee and leftover Italian cream cupcakes! Carolina enjoyed her baby coffee which is what I call licking the sweat off my mug 

Her and nana played a game. Nana coughed and Carolina copied her which made nana laugh and nanas laugh is the best so then Carolina laughed and so they were doing it back and forth for 10 minutes it felt like! Carolina would be belly laughing and then get real serious to try and cough and when nana would laugh at her she would belly laugh again! She also enjoyed dipping her hand in nanas ice water! You reap what you sow nana! (lol she taught her this!) 

She didn’t lay down for nap until 3 and I laid down with her I was so tired from party prepping then party clean up viewing house Sunday and early Monday morning. We slept until 6! Oops. I was hoping since it was much needed for both of us it wouldn’t affect bedtime. And it wasn’t too bad…although she did not sleep good at all during the night! Tuesday morning she didn’t wake up until 10:30 AM…yeah bet you are tired wildchild.

We went to pick my moms charm bracelet from James Avery we got her a cute little wiener puppy charm! I’ve always wanted to get her a bracelet but she has a labor intensive job so I’ve always been worried about it getting hung up but I decided to to get the braided bracelet so there are no links to get caught and just see what happens. We also went and had gringos for lunch with Pam and Carolina was in rare form! She was so over it and it was early i was shocked she had hardly been awake a couple hours! But she was throwing her cup didn’t want snacks didn’t want to share my food and didn’t want to be in her seat anymore so I held her and she didn’t want that either! I was like uhhh CHECK PLEASE! 

This stinker fell asleep on the way home and I even got to lay her in her crib for the first time in a week. 

She woke up shortly after still tired so we laid in my bed and she fell back asleep

Wednesday morning she kept head butting the head board and tossing and turning and whining then she sat up and smiled so I was like ok we will get up (a little before 7) so I tickled her and she laughed and then she was grumpy and crying and that’s pretty much how our morning went until this happened…. 8 AM lol 

She woke up for a couple minutes and got comfy again 

Today was just a bleh day. I had plans of cleaning while she napped and actually getting dressed and doing something with myself but then my SWEET husband asked me to let BOTH dogs in because of how hot it is and I did..I walked away because Carolina was losing her mind when I closed the gate so while I turned to grab her duke hiked his leg and peed on my rug and wall in the kitchen. So basically he can die of heat exhaustion for all I care because the one human child is all I can handle! & even though I shouldn’t let something like that ruin my day that’s where I’m at right now! I am super thankful Dane got home just a few minutes later which was really early because it was only like noon. Carolina ended up taking another nap on me but not until like 3 and she woke up about 5.

 Her sleep has been allllll messed up lately and I’ve just resorted to letting her sleep when she can or else she may not get any sleep at all! When she woke up we did teething tablets teething rings from the freezer tried a snack and her favorite movie- she didn’t want any of it! We ended up in the shower and that helped to change her mood. She also has not been interested in eating lately and I really need her to eat so we can start weaning. I have a feeling when we’re done breastfeeding she might start sleeping but I don’t see an end in sight. 

Peekaboo! 

Another rough night. She woke up just before 8 and I was playing with the inside of her hands tickling them and she was just smiling and watching me and making the sweetest faces. If I stopped she would put her hands in my hands! And I would open up my hand and she would do it back to me. Then she turned over and went back to sleep! Lol 

She eventually woke up…after 10 AM! I obviously had to get up and get coffee before that lol I sit in the living room and check on her every couple minutes since she is in my bed. Mom intuition is there and it is REAL because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done this and got the sense to get up and look in on her and she is awake contemplating the edge of the bed lol and she looks at me and smiles and raises her little eyebrows! I love her eyebrow raise it’s the cutest thing. She immediately got busy getting towels out of the cabinet taking my phone getting Tupperware and such out of kitchen drawers and stealing my keys off the entryway! Then she was multitasking reading books and watching the princess and the frog 

Thursday was a three cup of coffee kind of day! 

Brushing her hair! Smart cookie. We ended up getting dressed and going to Danes moms and eating pizza that night per Danes request

Determined! My poor bandaged baby. Daddy got off early and was able to meet us at home. We took a nap! Well I watched tv she took a nap haha 

She woke up and snuggled 

But fell back asleep in a new position 

Once she woke up she was in a good mood we went to Walmart and got her a new book and a pacifier with a clip! She always tries to rob missy jo of hers so I thought she might like one. She looked cute in her little shoes but they came off her foot is too thick on top

Saturdays are for playing! 

We stayed home almost all day long. We didn’t leave until dinner time. We introduced her to one of our favorite movies, LONESOME DOVE 

She watched a lot of it y’all lol 

We left to get dairy Queen for dinner and we ran by goodwill for a quick look and I scored these adorable plates for $3 I’m gonna hang them in my kitchen somewhere 

And we went by his parents on our way home! Brayden got jealous of Carolina in the recliner with his nana and said she could sit with me instead haha
