I did not feel like compiling a day to day blog this last week…so I didn’t! But here are some highlights of the week!

Gone! 

Returning some curtains and getting some stuff at Wally World. Team mommy or team daddy?? 

I was telling her “saw em off Carolina!” Lol 

Later that night I was in the kitchen and heard her start screaming and Dane said she pulled the lamp out of the window sill. I couldn’t find anything wrong with her so he thought it just scared her but when she calmed down I noticed her eye bleeding and I was just as upset as she was.

The next day paisley girl had a vet appointment so I took her for an ear infection and vaccines and left with the info that she has heart worms. I was upset again! I have stepped back from the dogs since bringing our human child home but we try our best to always give them their meds and we’ve missed before and she’s always been fine but I guess she’s older now and the mosquitoes were from hell this year. So we take her back to discuss treatment in two weeks but they told me she needs to be out of the heat and no rough housing. Uhhh ok she’s an outside dog with a terrible baby brother lol so our whole world was rocked when I found out she had to be inside now and we feel bad for leaving duke out alone but he isn’t potty trained and they rough house when together and they said paisley can have a heart attack. But Carolina took a good nap so at Pam’s house so I took paisley home and did some things! 

Carolina loves having paisley in and I knew she would she is obsessed with her. But paisley has always been tolerant of her but not accepting if that makes sense. So I wasn’t sure how paisley would be with the baby touching her constantly. 

“Hey bby you get me sum cheeze???” Uncle pawpaw gave her some cheese when I was gone picking her up from Pam so now paisley expects it lol 

Uncle pawpaw came over to work on our floors and they look incredible! So happy to have that nasty carpet gone. Uncle pawpaw said she is a bad helper lol 

She kept running off with his rubber mallet. I told him it was the best $1 he ever spent in her opinion lol 

I’m so glad that Carolina loves my uncle Leslie! She really loves the men in her life and I’m happy that she has two pawpaws that adore her! Dane dad “papa” and my uncle les has always been like a dad to me and is all I have left in this life as far as a male figure which is why I came up with her calling him “uncle pawpaw” because I knew he would be a pawpaw role in her life 

Day one was going pretty rough lol paisley went and hid but Carolina saw her! 

And then all of the sudden….

I looked up and saw Carolina sitting on paisley watching tv! Paisley decided to just embrace all the baby love!

Even though paisley has accepted her role as big sis she’s getting old and needed a break from all the love lol

Good morning! 

Today I repainted this nightstand (wish I had a before picture it was GREEN like key lime sherbet green!) and I changed the knobs to little glass ones  

And I made this little mademoiselle for a dinner party I’m having that’s a Paris theme. I found the little jewelry stand online and made a tutu! I think she’s precious 

And cleaned my house! That was a successful nap! And here is my new normal….

I was getting overwhelmed this morning and just like that a surprise knock on the door! It was my mom and thank heavens because these two were making me crazy!! Carolina always gives paisley her toys which paisley really appreciates but she will chew them up in a heartbeat. We decided to get out and go to Walmart together! (We went to Walmart for paint for the nightstand and tulle for the tutu above these pics are actually out of order because that little pink puppy on the floor was a dog toy my mom got Carolina lol she got paisley a lamb chop) I can’t win these two are partners in crime now

Sweet nana visit! 

This baby and her ball pit cracks me up she’s always lounging watching tv in it. And it wasn’t even playing her shows I was watching mine lol 

I gave her the rest of my burger to see what she would do and she smooshed it lol 

Ok this was cracking me up she was doing what me and my nana call decorating with her toys! She was arranging them all over the table at one point she had the whole zoo up there but she put so much thought into it. I took a video it’s really long but I just loved watching her do it. At one point she takes the giraffe and carries it to the floor and sets it down and walks away like “PERFECT!” Haha

Saturday we got up and drove to Santa Fe to see out of town family and didn’t stay longer than an hour because their baby was coughing his head off and I was not about to let Carolina get sick so once he was up I was ready to go! She was so good and ready for her nap when we got home. She took three naps Saturday.

Sunday morning we were up EARLY those three naps messed this girl up becauSe she was stirring and crying at 4:00 AM I am suspecting teeth but I’m not positive yet. Princess and the frog always makes her happy! 

Daddy joined us a little later and wrapped her up like a burrito and she didn’t care because she was captivated by her favorite frogs lol 

They took a morning nap while I cleaned Carolinas room 

When they awoke we went for lunch at el toro which has gone way downhill I don’t care to eat there anymore! Not even my tea was good. I had to ask for a new one. 

Anyways then daddy got a haircut and we went krogering! That is a girl dad if I’ve ever seen one holding a caramel Frappuccino! Lol 

Soooo I said I wasn’t gonna compile a blog and I pretty much did lol the end!
