Oh my MONDAY!

 Mondays are not always hard but sometimes they are gruesome! Just getting everyone back in routine after a weekend of fun....the annoying alarm clock. I can't wait for summer! Carolina was so upset about brushing her hair and started crying out for daddy as usual but he's at work. We got through it and made it to the school even though she asked to stay home...when she asked my tv was playing Amazon photos from when she was a newborn and I wanted to say yes stay home baby! But she has birthday pictures this week that she will miss half a day for and I really didn't want her to miss more school this close to the end of year! I hate how time is such a thief and I hate leaving my baby girl sad in the mornings! 

Let's talk about this funny boy! He loves to get on any set of wheels and tell us "I'm going to work!" And he will say to Carolina "bye honey, I'm going to work!" And leave and then go "wait I forgot a kiss!" And come back and they kiss and hug. Carolina will tell him "okay beau. Go to work in your boots!"

Carolina got up early with her daddy Tuesday morning and he made her a big ole plate of donuts!

When I picked Carolina up from school she started complaining her mouth hurt somewhere. I couldn't figure out if it was her lip cracking or her cheek she was kinda pointing to different spots on and off

Carolina still complained of mouth pain on and off after school and I noticed she didn't drink all of her ovaltine after Dane left 

Thursday morning ❤️ she was not complaining a lot and ate dinner fine the night before. I kept her home because we had birthday pics scheduled and just wanted everything to be lowkey before we went

I died laughing. I said "look Carolina it's baby Beau on the tv with candy!" And she said "Beau looks like an elephant!" Well now I can't unsee it the candy totally looks like elephant ears! Love her mind and imagination

She sat in the car with beau while Carolina had her glamour photos and then switched! I don't have any pics from Carolina's because she was very quiet and required constant coaching 

Thursday evening Carolina wanted to stay with me while Dane took beau to see Karl. Well I finally got a good look in her mouth and found a horrible sore! she told me "2 circles like purple and pink and M and M like candy! Found on floor!" I was like ohhhh no did you eat this at school?! She said no on the rug at home which is completely possible because beau had the bag earlier that day! I called Dane to come home and help me get a pic and reached out to pedi and dentist. Dentist said she wanted to see her next day. Kinda worried me but also felt it was just an ulcer. She cried really hard so we kept her home another day. She was so brave at dentist! I was super proud of her. She said ouch a few times but was very cooperative. My mom had given me money for them to get a toy for cooperating with photographer so she sent extra money for her being so good at dentist! 

I took them shopping after dentist appt. I was super impressed with the toys they picked out. 

Beau picked a remote control fire truck that lights up and it's really cool and goes fast and it was only $5! He also picked a blue monster truck 

Carolina picked a jumbo glitter bouncy ball that lights up for $2 and this adorable horse stable with klip klop horses, 2 little people, a jeep and trailer and it was $10! It was super cute she played with it for 2 days

Carolina's new shirt! I clipped her hair up and you can't tell from this angle but I cannot even with how sassy and cute she looked! Her little ringlets were like a waterfall and she kept bobbing her head. Carolina slept over 

One day I'll go to bed without monster trucks or little animals on my nightstand. It will stop without me noticing and then when I realize, it will be devastating. Love these messy reminders of my babies! They are my whole life. Worrying is the price of loving someone. 

Saturday they played water balloons! Carolina didn't want to get wet at first but she ended up in a bucket! Beau loved it and is all boy. He was running around with a handful of them and throwing them in his little pool 

I took Beau home for a nap kicking and screaming and he was saying "I don't wanna go home!!!" He was asleep in my bed for about 15 mins and woke up screaming saying "I don't wanna go home!!!" I was like uhhhhh OKAY PSYCHO LOL he went back to sleep. He's the weirdest sleeper and biggest character. When he woke up he wanted to ride his red tricycle to Pam's so I walked with him and he talked the whole way. "They have a wagon! Ohhh motorcycle! I want one at my party! MONSTER TRUCK! I found more water! My feet all wet! Red car match my red bicycle!" His voice is my favorite 😍 

The only way we convinced Carolina to come home Saturday night was because she had her "white tiger" mail she had been talking about since she saw one as a prize at the sylvan beach fair! My mom ordered it for her

Later beau took the basket and brought it to Carolina and said "here honey! I got this for you!" 

Sunday 🩷 I had me beau and Carolina dressed and ready for church besides her hair. She freaked out and melted down saying she was too tired for church. So I said okay go lay in your bed and turn the lights out no playing! And she actually did lay in her bed for 30-40 mins. 

We played outside I cleaned and organized, we went swimming! It was a fun weekend but I will say Carolina was unusually SASSY! BOSSY. I'm not sure the word but she was getting so mad. I told her we had to wash her rats nest hair after swimming and she was stomping her feet saying "you're making me angry!!!!" I actually hugged and cuddled her and asked if she was tired and hungry and she said yes. I was proud of her for using her words and telling me how she felt.
