Big sis

 5 days postpartum Carolina June gave me a kiss and I burst into tears and laughter! I’ve been begging her for a kiss for probably over a month! Dane walked in the room and saw me crying and asked what was wrong and I told him and he just grinned and was like “ohhhkay” he’s been very understanding lol 

I am so proud of how quickly she has tolerated a new sibling! She has found a small sense of normalcy through our days and I’m looking for all the joyful moments in our day to cling to 

I have slowly earned back her affection after royally pissing her off lol 

And I cherish every single moment we get together. After being sad and weepy for days about not having more one on one time with her my mom said it best “she’s not going anywhere you have the rest of her life with her she isn’t gone” and my nana made an excellent point too. They also are smitten with Carolina and even though they know that they love beau in their heart they have to get to know him too. It’s just like growing tour relationship with God or your spouse you have to put quality time and effort into getting to know someone! My mom and nana are my rock ❤️
