Happy 2nd Birthday

 2 years of loving Carolina June! 

At this point I can’t remember life without you. It’s like you’ve just always been here. You are engraved in my heart child. I love your wild, your sweet, your funny, your sassy, your smart, your temper, I love your uniquely you personality. 

You are my cupcake angel princess! That’s what my mama calls me and now, I truly get it. I have so many hopes and dreams of the woman you will one day become (against my will) time is an absolute thief. I can only look for the joy in our days together and store away these precious memories in my heart. You are becoming such a big girl. 

I am so proud of the way you’ve adjusted to becoming a big sis at such a young age with no understanding of why all of the sudden we can’t cater to your every want (even though we kill ourselves trying) you will always hold a special place in my heart as my daughter and first born! When God made me your mama all my dreams came true true and the love I have for you and the bond we share is beyond my wildest dreams 

It’s unbelievable to me that my sweet girl from these photos is 2 years old. Time flies when you’re having fun and me and you have had a ball! One thing I’ve realized since becoming a mom for the second time is that motherhood is tough, vulnerable and raw! Having you was “easy” because it was just you. But learning to share my heart and my time…it’s felt impossible. I pray I can be there to watch you become a mother and guide you and share any shred of advice and encouragement I gain from this journey! Assuming I survive it…just kidding! 

I spend your birthday evening how I spend every evening. Snuggling you to sleep and playing with you as you jabber away in your own language, giggling and looking up at me with those big brown eyes. I love you baby and I’m captivated by you. Your second year has been fun and fleeting. Don’t ever grow up. Happy Birthday love, mommy
