Just snoozing away but mommy is up and waiting to go get coffee…

I sit at the edge of my bed on the chest and wait for her to wake up..it’s so funny when she sits up and sees me! She had some crazy bed head 

Poor baby got a mean ole skeeter bite that made her eye all puffy 

We stayed home and I did laundry and she played..she took a little nap but when she woke up and I was trying to finish up stuff around the house she cried big tears every time I left the room!

 So I decided we should go visit nana nutmeg. I pulled her pj pants down while she was standing up to get her dressed and she looked at me so funny reached down with one hand and pulled them back up! Haha She always has lots of fun exploring new territory at nanas and getting into stuff. Nana has lots of fun drawers to open. My mom got home and noticed how puffy her eye was and I felt like it had gotten worse since this morning! I went through the pharmacy for some Benadryl which was a JOKE but I got it and decided against it because it really wasn’t bothering her it just looked bad

She is so attached to her daddy when he gets home. She keeps her sights on him and crawls after him if he leaves the room. And if she doesn’t see him leave the room and then looks up and notices he is gone she gets so upset! I love when she hears the door open and races to the door to see if it’s him. She fell asleep after dinner and bath by 7 pm but then she woke up shortly after thinking that was a nap…and she was grumpy lol I couldn’t get her back to sleep and she didn’t end up asleep until 10 PM and it wasn’t until after she head butted my nose and Dane went and got me jack in the box tacos and egg roll haha...my salad for dinner just didn’t fill me up I guess. He’s so good to us! Tuesday morning June was rolling around the bed and kinda fussing and kinda jabbering but still half asleep. I just ignored her lol but I noticed it was light out and Dane was still in bed it was just before 7. I felt awake. She was saying the sweetest “ma ma” in her sleep! She rolled over and went back to sleep.  I again sat on the chest at the end of the bed dreaming of coffee. 

Like mother like daughter, we are honorary Gilmore girls! “We need the coffee to do the things!” 

She’s been handing me my old phone that we gave her to play with and I always hold it to my ear and talk on it and try to give it back to her but she only wants for me to screen all of her calls. But finally this afternoon she had a long conversation with dada 

Couldn’t keep her awake come five! I tried sitting her up and everything she was just OUT! 

New thing Carolina is doing: clicking her tongue! It’s hilarious! When she first started doing it I didn’t know because it sounded like smacking and made me think she was eating something. She walks around clicking her tongue and always keeps her arms out so she can catch herself if she falls lol and I keep forgetting to write about something funny she did last week. She was crawling around saw her toy giraffe bent down with her neck and picked it up with her mouth! Haha maybe I dress her in too much of our polka dot puppy line because she acts like a little puppy! 

Carolina had her first BIG mess yesterday lol I decided a little iced coffee afternoon delight sounded good. Had it sitting in the window where she couldn’t “reach it” and somehow when she was stacking her little toys up there like she does the coffee tilted forward…yep a FULL cup of iced coffee! And it took her breath away! She didn’t know what to do she just stood there covered in iced coffee making shocked noises. She looked like she wanted to cry but she just kept gasping. I was laughing because she was literally brown. She looked like a little mocha frappe lol it was even in her eyelashes. I picked her up and carried her to the bathtub and when I put her down I got a good look at her and laughed which also made her laugh. She also slipped while crawling and busted her chin again! Her last bruise just went away not that long ago! 

 Most of my pics right now look like this one because Carolina has been having separation anxiety from mommy! She cries when I leave the room.

She’s been walking more and more. She is getting more brave. Saturday we went to a baby shower and Dane Michael had to work. We finally got to pop the tags on our mommy and me I bought in the spring

My best friend snapped this pic today. I have always been considerate of others when nursing Carolina. I always use a cover...(or try to, as demonstrated in this picture lol) When in small groups I make sure it won’t offend anyone before I feed her. But Carolina didn’t care who watched her…because to her she’s eating lunch. & honestly I think it’s a good reminder this is what God intended breasts for. This world is out of control and should feel shame over a lot more than me feeding my child. I am so lucky to have a husband that supports me and anytime we are in public and I’m nervous about feeding her he says “if anyone has a problem with you feeding our child they can take it up with me” he’s one of the good ones 💗

As soon as I got home I changed into sweats and a t shirt and put June in her favorite outfit…her bday suit lol and I was exhausted and the Gilpin’s came over so I made us mamas some ice coffee 

We watched hocus pocus, Dane picked up pizza for dinner and the guys went outside while we watched the friends reunion! The girls were absolutely insane

 and when the daddies came in both girls were wet so we made them have a diaper change contest with their dads lol it was a good night with our favorite people!
