Summer is here and it is steaming HOT! We were successful at doing a ton of yard work and other things around the house to make everything perfect for Junies first birthday party! She played outside with us all day! We relocated some things we already had because my main goal was to redo the very front bed.
And taking advantage of messes she could make lol
The next time I came in she had pulled food out of the garbage can! She is so much like a little puppy! We all needed a shower SO BAD!
Sunday we took a break from our hard work to spend some time together at the mud park! My mom came and stayed with Carolina. I was addicted to getting things done in the yard when Dane got home from getting kolaches for my mom that morning and I had taken the baby out so I could plant something haha

We had a great time and I got to cut loose on the four wheeler a couple times on my own! We got home and cleaned the four wheeler and went to the garden center for more plants! Carly bug played in the driveway while dada washed.
Monday, baby’s first Memorial Day and baby’s FIRST PONY!!!!! She is adorable and I love her hair pulled back it shows her beautiful face. I am so excited.
We had a long hot day outside again! We were going to go to Danes mom with his siblings to cook and swim in the pool but brayden was running fever and we didn’t want to risk anyone else getting sick so we cancelled. These pictures sum up our day! Carolinas hair sticking straight up and and one pant leg all the way up!
Dane cut down our grapefruit tree which was so sad to us but it died in the freeze. It was HUGE. We hauled it all over the fence and to the street. I could make all the things we did but it would take awhile! Just know it was a lot. Tuesday was a day of errands! We went to the UPS store to have some party stuff printed. He said it would be ready the next day so next I went to the dry cleaners to drop off our comforter which is in the same parking lot as my nail lady and I wanted to get in this week so I called and she said she could take me! So I walked and got subway since I was starving and ate my sandwich and held Carolina while I got my pedicure. While I was there UPS called and said it was ready! Uhhh okay it’s supposed to rain all week so I guess I’ll go get it now. Drove there, got Starbucks baby fell asleep waited for her to wake up and then went to Walmart! When we got home I put her in a laundry basket in the yard while I unloaded the car and brought in the garbage cans which lasted all of five seconds before she got out
Wednesday she just was not in a good mood! I think it was teeth and waking up on the wrong side of the bed. She was playing in the drawers in the kitchen like always but she fell and scraped the inside of her arm on the drawer. She was so upset
She took an early nap to get rid of her grumps
She woke up a little better….
we went to Walmart and $215 dollars later I got EVERYTHING for her party plus household items and we needed. Carolina was a PERFECT ANGEL! It was a long trip with a loaded down buggy I just kept giving her puffs and a little toy and she was a happy camper! THANK YOU JESUS! Ran to the bathroom before unloading the car and she followed lol my little shadow! And to my surprise and delight, uncle pawpaw was here fixing our fence and unloaded the car for me. Ugh, so appreciated!!!!! Things like that are so difficult with a baby.

So I forgot to mention but last night I fed her the gerber roasted chicken and veggies and OMG she was a huge fan. She LALALOVED IT! She was excited about every bite and ate the entire container! Something Carolina has been doing for a few weeks that I keep forgetting to mention is when she sees any item of clothing she picks it up and puts it over her head like she is trying to get dressed! When dada combs your hair into a Mohawk after bath time and you go to sleep like that! Lol

Busy making messes! It was a rough day. I couldn’t tell if she was throwing fits or teeth were bugging her. It seemed more like tantrums but who knows
Yay for good mood Friday morning because it’s BDAY PARTY WEEKEND! I have gotten a lot done and made everything in advance but the time is here to get it all out and to start cleaning! Which means I need her to entertain herself so I can get stuff done. I can’t stay up late after she goes to bed and do it because lately she sleeps with us!
BIRTHDAY PARTY DAY! I can hardly believe we are celebrating her first birthday today. I will cope with it by saying it’s just an 11 month party- because she will not be one for another couple weeks! Here is a series of sleepy pictures….someone was really excited for her birthday party lol
